    Hi everyone,

Arial;590012 wrote: Good on you for cycling to work Marshy - especially in London! - is it safe??
I'm not sure if it's safe or not really - it can get a bit hairy at times! Most drivers are OK but it only takes one crazy one to do damage, and there are quite a few crazies out there...
I try to stick to side streets as much as poss to minimise the risk. It's great that you have cycle routes to work.
One added "danger" when I cycle home from work late on Friday night is the drunk people wandering into the road - I've had a few near misses there. :H

Day off for me today - there's chocolate to be eaten instead.
    Back to the gym tomorrow.

Cycling is a gret workout- I went for a long ride yesterday- first time this year. My hubby and I went probably about 20 kms.
We went skiing on Friday- first time in 15 years for me- it was incredible, in the Rocky Mountains. We will be going next week again, the whole family.

Today, I am off Rollerblading. I find if i do a lot of different things I don't get bored. I have to keep my girlish figure since I lost around 30 lbs since Dec. 1st. Yippee!

Have a great day, enjoy the chocolate Marshy. I enjoyed some myself last night.

Wow, Narilly, you've been BUSY! Excellent weight loss too. I keep thinking I must really get tough on myself and get rid of my remaining booze flab, and yet here I am sitting on the sofa eating chocolate...

Yesterday (Mon) 3k walk/run in 28.3 min - I'm counting! Then a Yoga DVD. Thought I'd be really sore today but not too bad. My weight is just STUCK. Up and down by the same 1kg, been like this for about a year. Am going to do a food diary this week and be honest........

I am getting back on track today with my exercising. I hope that my injuries stay away. I am hoping to get 2 hours exercise in today. One hour of bodypump (weights) and one hour of bodycombat (kickboxing). My goal is to lose the 1.5kg weight I gained last week in 5 days. Hoping that it is mostly fluid. But gaining is a big lesson for me not to overeat just because family are visiting and to avoid junk food.

Betty, I use the calorieking website to track my calories. The australian version is calorieking.com.au and is free. Has the best food database for me, and also has a exercise database but I am unsure about how accurate their calories consumption are.

i use myfooddiary.com, don't know if it is outside the us or not...i like it as you can track your exercise and it tells you how many calories you have left in the day...

              i walked 6 miles today...possibly yoga later.

              peace!

Yoga Class today, another instructor, different again but good. Can't count calories but could eat more fruit and veggies and not keep chips/crisps in the house.

Biked 15k Monday, ran 5k yesterday, am having day off today so just some crunches to try and reestablish a wasteline, and have a 5k run tomorrow evening with the group - it's really great to run with others as it helps the motivation, plus improves the social life! - another feel-good factor!

                        Happy moving all!

i walk a 3 mile loop 2x a day...it takes me about 43 minutes to walk 3 miles...i ran a 10 k in 63 minutes and i ran slow, so i'm sure you can do it in 80 minutes starts!

i got up early with my daughter so she could do the treadmill this am, so proud of her!

It sure is great not to have a hangover- today I woke up and went to a spinning class (not weaving), at 6:15am. I never could have done that 2 months ago- I was too busy being hungover.
So- spinning class today, walk the dog, I think that will be good.

                                Keep moving everyone!
