    i guess i'll start this...

    i'm going to walk the dogs before we take off for chicago...ugh, 14 hours of driving!

    I'm joining in...

    Today I did about half an hour of strength training, and 37 minutes of cardio. And I weighed myself to find I've lost 4 pounds this week!
    FINALLY -- I'm a non-drinker!!

      Well, today I walked for a couple of hours and didn't go to the gym. i am going to try and get up at 5:45 am and go for a step class. I am not big on waking up early so wish me luck!
      I did a 'on the ball' exercise class yesterday and my abs are sore from that today- which is great.

      I am getting up early tomorrow- no excuse- I will NOT have a hangover!

        I signed up for a ladies run in July!!
        Now I need to get moving.
        I'm also away for 2 weeks on holiday so i'll start by training on the beach.

          Way to go Lisa, DB, MOW, losing 4 lbs in a week, excellent work!
          Today I got up at 5:45 AM and went to a step class, I haven't been able to do that for awhile because I was always hunover. It felt GREAT!!
          I will be doing that again for sure.

          Have an active day everyone- sorry about the long car ride Peace!

            owie, got kicked really hard last night directly on the outer sciatic nerve on my left thigh...limping now but at least it's a 'healthy' injury LOL

                  Sounds (and looks!) potentially painful! What happened to the non-agressive art of martial art as seen, obviously, in Karate Kid?

                  My non-agressive, non-contact sport today was running. Finally good weather has reached us so I'm really looking forward to getting out more often - I think I have cabin fever and just love getting out in to the warmer fresh air! So much so that I'm actually thinking about cycling to work each day (it's commonly done here adn as I live in a fairly rural location, it should be lovely). It's only about 15k each way - it's the earlier get-up time that will be the problem, adn the shower once I get there etc. Will try it soon and see how it goes!

                  Keep moving everyone - good luck with your fitness goals and speedy revcovery from any injuries!

                    Today is my day off. Tomorrow I will do Muay Thai (kidding!). That looks really tough!

                    Tomorrow is the kick ass aerobics/pump class I went to last week. I was sore for 3 days after SO of course I am going back! It was a great class.
                    Lucky you Arial, having warm weather to run in. Actually it was +2C today so I am not complaining.

                      I've been walking a lot the past few days - outside! Thank heavens the weather is getting better. I also did some core work with my bosu (LOVE my bosu!). Later today I'm getting my kayak in the water for the first time in nearly two years. YAY!!!

                          Got a 3 (YES THREE) mile run in today. It has taken a few weeks to get up to three miles, but I did it! Also did pushups and situps. Circuit Training tomorrow with my trainer..

                            MOW, I love kayaking, though don't do much of it at the moment - on my list of things to definitely do now I'm not drinking! And ditto Deter, what is Bosu?

                            Have decided I want to join the gym for 3 months to really get in shape again so see if I can arrange that - coupled with the cycling and running, I'd better see (or at least feel) a new me in a few months!

                              nicely done Med Mama!! thats a good run.

                              a guy in my martial arts class recently lost 25lbs of fat while gaining muscle in 5 weeks on the 'paleolithic diet'.

                              i finally pretty happy about my size, just making all my classes is a challenge with my crazy work travel schedule.
