Yoga class weds - walk run yesterday, 27 mins for 3km.
The muscles between my shoulderblades are really sore - I had a massage and she couldn't get all of the knots out, I think its to do with my running 'style' - any ideas?
Induction today at eleven at my new gym with aircon - woo hoo!

pretend you are pulling on a rope as you run Sweats. Drop your shoulders and work your arms --- this coming from the "expert" who's takkies have dust on them LOL!!
Seriously tho, when I did run, it was great advice which was given to me by my father who ran professionally for many years."The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it"

Thanks Dee, will try.
I am officially obese, my body fat percentage is 40%, and I have a sluggish metabolism. Apparently. On the plus side though the Yoga is making me more flexible.
Did a 40 min circuit with an instructor after he had weighed, measured and broken the good news to me.
Peace - does your beagle have pants on its head??

Betty - I don't have those tests done. Too depressing. I have seen my perfect body-sized friend getting depressed to be told she has 33% body fat. She is the perfect size 10 but apparently she needs to gain more muscle, but when she does that her BMI increases with the extra weight.

betty, that is "puck" and he is wearing a proper hat, thank you very much!!!!
:H:H
my bmi is 30 which is considered obese...i am 5'9" tall and wear a size 14...no one believes me when i tell them i am obese, so i guess that is good. if i lose one more bmi point, i'll only be overweight!!! oh to be overweight!!!

Hi Guys,I wish I could join you all. I got bit on the knee, by a poisonous spider and can't walk much less run. It has set back my goals of getting back in shape. If you have any ideas, of exercises that I could do, i would love to try them. The infection is getting under control but it can take months to heal back to normal and I am bored of sitting here with this beautiful spring weather we are having.sigpicEyes on the PRIZE, a SOBER Future !!!

Ahh, cute peace! Is tick season here - just lovely.
Did my training plan walk/run on Saturday. Weight is STILL completely stuck. Even Mr Sweats has commented that for the nutrition/exercise effort I'm putting in there should be some weight loss! Am due back at thyroid doc in May, will see how my levels are, and if he has any suggestions.
Happy Monday
