AF daily - Monday 6th April

Hi Everyone: Your posts are testimony to the fact that AF is the best life. I love reading them. I did an all-day b-sitting stint for my g-sons today & am just getting home at 7PM. It was tiring but fun. I'm off to a meeting. I have another all-dayer tomorrow but will check in at some point. Mary

AF daily - Monday 6th April

        Hello Abbers,

Had fabulous night's sleep last night. Having another busy week coming. We have company arriving on Sunday for a week and I need to make sure the cat hasn't barfed on the guest bed, etc.

We've gone from sunny and 70s to cold, showers and 40s. May get a freeze tonight or tomorrow. So glad I resisted the urge to plant anything. This weather is a drag on me.

I just ordered more Kudzu and L-glutamine. I ran out and feeling the need for more support.

I'd love to address folks today, bu I'm beat down and need to eat, relax and hope I have more energy tomorrow. Also have a cat trying to take over the keyboard....he's strong arming me for attention...

Aloha Everyone! Had a lovely birthday and anniversary with Mr. Hula yesterday. Yes, they are the same day. Went to a very expensive restaurant, and without drinks, except coffee, the bill was $90.00. (cough, cough). Once is enough, "been there, done that". I just don't think I appreciate the artistic expressions with sauces on the humongous fine china and not enough real food to feel satisfied. Do I just have a bigger appetite than most? And why don't they believe in salt? It actually brings out the flavor in foods. Helllooo. I also like some sugar in my dessert. Is that such a scandal? Haha. So much for hoity-toity and I hope I haven't totally offended those of you who are fans of pacific-rim fusion new age minimalist cuisine. Oh but so nice to be out on a date. We took a "couples" picture at sunset and sent it to adult kids. They loved it.

            Hi DG,
I didn't know you used to live in FL. My husband's family lives in FL which is probably why we are here. Anyway, we sailed from NJ to FL in Nov., did repairs on our sailboat over the winter, and are now doing the FL Keys. So far we've sailed through Key Biscayne, passed Key Largo and Rodriguez Bay, and are now in Marathon. We leave here as soon as the weather breaks for Key West and, hopefully, the Dry Tortugas. Are you familiar with the Dry Tortugas? People keep telling us the stormy weather breaks by April and the run to the Tortugas is possible. We'll see...
Anyway, thanks for asking. You probably won't pick this post up since it is "yesterday" now and I'm sure you are more concerned with today's problems and your court appearance!
