    Happy First Anniversary Doggy Girl!

    Congrats DG

DG - Congratulations!! What an amazing year it has been for you. You are PROOF that when you put every energy into "getting well" you CAN do it ... all within a year!!!! You have transformed your mind, your body and your habits. I remember when you came back after 10 month's drinking how determined you were. Then you disappeared. When you came back again - you had a fire in your belly like no one else I've ever seen on this site. You had made up your mind.... you were going to change your life.

I believe that is the key I have taken from your "journey". That you can't just "stop". You have to look at your whole life - and make adjustments. Congrats again - I am really proud of you.

Hi Liv!! It's great to *see* you. One thing is for sure - I MUST stay determined in order to keep my sobriety. Every bit of the effort is worthwhile.

Hi Thankful! What a treat to see the beautiful pink rose. Thanks for posting! It's been an incredible year. Not necessarily an easy year, but worth every bit of effort it has taken to get this far. I am so grateful for all the support you have given me. I hope life is treating you to wonderful things.

Bloody brilliant DG. Well flipping done!
We had some contact last year - I did manage 7mths sobriety in the end.
Back again. (No drinks since Sun and in WD.) Serious health stuff means I musn't leave. Need abstinence much worse than I ever needed a drink.
And I need a community of support. Clearly, it's working for you. PM if you have the time and condense yr strategy? Needing to hear what works x

Hi Kayla. Welcome back. We CAN do this. I PM'd you a bit of an outline of what I've found useful but I would also suggest reading (and reading and reading and reading) in the Toolbox thread which has tons of good ideas.

Thank you Beaches!! I love the fireworks!
