    helllooooo!

    walked with a friend for 4 miles this am then did aerobics (trampoline, step ups, weights while maching in place, jumping jacks etc...) for 60 minutes. did some arm/shoulder work as well...will walk the pups later for 3 miles.

        Hello all! You go Deter on the sit ups in the room. I would probably use that situation as an excuse to not exercise. You rock! :b&d:

        Sweats, why are you not speaking to Mr. Sweats? Was he a bad boy? If so I am sorry to hear that. Maybe the dark cloud has passed by now??

        Peace I really like your new avatar! I have not had much curry in my life but I've liked what I've had and would like to learn how to make it. Any pointers to good recipes?

        Marshy EW on the public steam room. I use a Far Infrared Sauna at home (dry heat) and with just ME in it, that's EW enough.

        Hello to everyone else who is no doubt abbercizing their butts off so no time for posting about it!!! :b&d:

        Yesterday was cardio and today was cardio and upper body with PT. :b&d: But I ate some brownie bites that were on sale at the grocery store. :upset: Oh well. Tomorrow is another day. Beats drinking!

            Have done lots of lifting and shifting over the past couple of days, so am counting that as my abbercizing.
            Dog walked an hour this morning, my chi couldn't keep up so I carried her a bit - she's 3kg, maybe a need another little fat chihuahua to balance me up?

            Hoping for a Yoga class tonight if Mr Sweats is back on time. I'm speaking to him, but have resolved to keep part of my life a mystery from him as he thinks its ok to let me wait 2 hours and not call or SMS as he's too busy and I do nothing of any consequence all day.

            Hmmmm.

              I googled the benefits of sauna and it seems to cure almost everything, including anorexia . I might give the sauna another go, but not the steam room :yuk:

                Wow peace. You are not going to believe this but I live on "Pine Ridge Drive." It looks nothing like your avatar though!!

                Sweats, if Mr. D thought I did nothing of consequence all day, I would consider proving it by going shopping. I mean some REAL shopping. Michigan Avenue shopping. "Consequence" would take on a whole new meaning.

                Wow Marshy. So sauna's cure anorexia, eh? I had no idea they tasted good.....

                    Hi guys!

                    Tried a pretty interesting, but effective new exercise routine yesterday. Let your labrador puppy set your pace as you walk (jog) in the homecoming parade with the football moms!
                    And, don't ask anyone to pick you up at the end, so walk/jog back to your vehicle. You also get the added benefit of trying to pull him away from the stray candy in the street!:H

                      Deter you are so into self torture! :b&d: Good to hear you are back to normal and enjoying it. With garlic I'm sure.

                      :H LVT I have been around enough lab pups to have quite a vision of what walking in a parade with one must have been like. Did I say :H??? Sounds like you got your cardio AND strength training in spades.

                        Oggy oggy oggy! Oi oi oi!

                        We played netball against a university team tonight. Not a bunch of middle-aged lecturers, oh no. The sprightly 20-year-old students. And we won!!!!!!!!!

                        Dunno how we do it. We don't practise and are definitely a bit shambolic compared to the other teams I've seen. But so far we're top of the league!

                        I remembered to do some stretching exercises before and after so I'm hoping I'll be able to walk a bit better tomorrow than I could last time.

                          DG - have started shopping, dress and 2 belts today. Was great to wide belts that I could wear over my hips! Will keep you informed as my list grows as its still not very harmonious here. Have been abbercising though. I'm loving my new 1.5 hr Yoga classes, and am still dog walking.

                          I love the idea of the Paris Hilton exercise method - but it has to be said my chi is a very odd shape, squat and broad, don't think I'd get one to match

                          Onwards and Upwards......

                              way to go Marshy!! you guys are on a roll.

                              I will work on weights this week as i am still resting my left foot. Though i feel a little better today...i need to be patient since i tend to over-do the minute i start feeling better and i want to be rid of this pain once and for all.


                              down another pound! i really cant believe it! I've found that if i eat a big breakfast, bigger lunch and then a small dinner it really helps with my weight loss goals.

                              now i really need to focus on toning up the muscles.
