        Sweats I'm glad you are going for that R&R! (Retail Revenge) Sounds like some hot stuff. Good for you.

        Mstall congrats on your weight goals!! I hope that foot is 100% soon. I need to balance my meals a lot more like you are doing. I tend to tip the other way too easily - eating not enough early in the day, then too much later. I'm OK with where I am now, but would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get a bit lower in body fat % and it ain't happenin' with the eating program I currently have going on. Thanks for the inspiration!

        Cindi, thank you for explaining "Age and Guile." Because I know nothing about that - especially the "Age" part of it. :H

        OK - I'm sure I'm over my smilie quota. Whatever happened to our vigorous demands for more than 6??? Anyway...



        Monday: Cardio
        Tuesday: Personal Torturing - lower body (and she totally kicked my ass yesterday!)
        Wednesday: Cardio (Did I REALLY burn 480 calories like the good machine said??? probably not but I ate some chocolate anyway)

        Tomorrow is more personal torturing. Of the upper body this time. When she is torturing my poor pitiful flabs I'm going to regret that chocolate. :b&d:

          Boy Personal Torturer is kickin' my butt hard this week. She pushed me again on upper body today. Biceps of steel. That's me. Well, probably not steel yet. But moving at a geezer's pace in that direction. I hope. :b&d:

          Sweats are you talking to Mr. yet?? Any good new stuff in your closet today? Marshy, are you walking better this week? Did the stretching help? Mstall, how's your foot?

          Wow, I've got extra smilies today. Too bad I can't save 'em. So I'll use 'em.

                im going to do intervals on the treadmill today...one minute at full clip with 2 minutes of walking hard for a total of 45 minutes and of course, i'll walk my dogs a couple times!

                my husband comes home today, i'm so happy!

                  i did a whole hour of running at 7mph fora minute and walking at 4 mph for 2 minutes..wow does it feel good! i hope to up the ratio until i am back at my 10k days fitness level!
                  will do the same workout today with abs and arms as well.

                    Peacenik, that's awesome. interval training is so good. I can't wait to get back into my kickboxing class (3 min in the ring...1 minute rest) repeat until you drop.....thud.

                      Det, a good late night snack is a frozen banana dipped in a tiny bit of dark chocolate. Takes longer to eat, good for you, satisfies the sweet tooth.

                        Ruby, did you do the required 50 push ups before you posted in this thread????? :H JUST KIDDING!! (because if 50 push ups were really required I would so be in trouble!)

                        I've lost track of when I last posted as I wasn't on here hardly at all over the weekend. Friday was my day off last week. Saturday was Lower Body + Abs + Cardio. Sunday was Upper Body + Cardio. Today was Cardio. I updated my iPod with different tunes so it was a good workout. :rockband: Bryan Adams is my new current boyfriend.

                          Why do I have to see this post FIRST when I come to this thread????? I bought bananas today. There is cream in the fridge. Oy.

                          Well, back on topic! :b&d:

                          Did I post yesterday? I don't think so or maybe I did. I'm losing track of time. Or my mind. Or both. Yesterday was Personal Torture of the lower body variety and of course cardio. I thought my legs were going to fall off by the time I was done. Changing up the ipod tunes is killing me.

                          Today was cardio. That was all I could take. 30 minutes. I also signed up for a walkathon slot in a month long continous walk they are doing for Breast Cancer. This weekend is the kickoff and they will be walking 24X7. Then for the rest of the month it's during their full hours of operation in 20 minute slots. There is a special treadmill for the walking (it's one person at a time obviously!) and there is some way that by participating you get chances to win the treadmill. I already have a treadmill clothes hanger so I'm just interested in helping the cause. This is good for me to get out of my little world a bit. I like my little AF world, but I think I need to spread my wings some.

                          Anyway, I had a lot of fun :b&d:ing with you guys this month! Here's to a rockin' start to October.

                            Ruby--how about frozen bananas dipped in chocolate AND whipped cream. :H I happen to have all 3 in stock!

                            I have really stepped up my fitness routine this week since the Denver Race for the cure is this Sunday!! I kind of want to try running/jogging again, because I get a little bored walking indoors, but I don't dare do that right now since last year it messed up my knees so bad I could barely walk. So walking at different inclines/speeds on the treadmill this week. My yoga instructor also added a Monday evening class so twice a week yoga--feels great!

                            Ok, off to find those bananas........:h

                              I have corrupted the ABercizers thread! noooooooooooo.

                              ok, hauled my banana-filled self out to the weight bench this morning to find it frozen cold. it's in the 30's so had to go back for gloves. brrrrrrr. but I got in a good hard super set on chest/triceps.

                              hey, anyone try L Arginine? I just got some yesterday at the vitamin store after talking with them. it's supposed to help with blood flow and muscle 'pump'. i did discover something interesting today. it helps my lungs/breathing! this can't be a coincidence can it? off to learn more bout this....
