            Morning Abbers!

            Thanks Sara for that great start to another AF day!!

            It's IS going to be clear and fall-like today in Minneapolis. Heading towards the end of another week and i'm feeling great. Just wish my left foot would be progressing faster but i must learn patience with it. I miss going on my walks/jogs with the old dog and i know she misses it too.

              We have a nice day on board here as well. I'm heading out to do some cleanup - yesterday's high winds left us with some branches down, etc. I have to go wake my dogs, those old girls seem to love sleeping in

                Sara that was great!

                Good to see everyone so upbeat this morning - today will be an AF day for me!

                I go into receive my promotion offer today - hopefully it's good! Wish me luck! I'll keep you posted.

                  Thanks Sara--what a great way to start the day. No clear skies here though--it is snowing!!! Somedays that is even better though. I think I'll go get my work done in town and then come home and make some more salsa and do laundry.

                  The Huskers football game is on the telly tonight, I hope I can get it here, I'm feeling just a little antisocial right now.

                            LVT, I too was out and about this morning, and then ended up making one last (and I SWEAR this time it really IS the LAST) batch of salsa. :H Great minds and all that jazz.

                            Chief, enough of this wild ride today. PULL OVER RIGHT NOW and stop at MWO to check in. Your driving is scarin' me. Seriously...I hope you are doin' OK.

                            A wise person told me once that toying with AL in my mind was like getting into the ring to fight with AL. And to fight AL is to lose. The only way to "win" with AL is to just walk away from the fight. You helped me do that. You know how, cuz you taught me. So JUST DO IT!!! :b&d::sofa::b&d:

                            Well, I'm off to do my routine of back exercises then a sauna, some tanning, and a hot shower. It's cold and rainy today so ALL of those activities sound might appealing! Then HOT SOUP for dinner. Yep - you all put soup on my mind so I had to make some. Turkey / tomato / veggie concoction. With a couple hot peppers to keep things interesting.

                            One thing is for sure - there will be no drinking in my world today. It's always great to come here, knowing that the merry band of AbLanders will always be here. It's nice to count on this in my sobriety routine. So THANK YOU!!!

                              That's GREAT news Uni!!!!:goodjob:

                              I'm thinking maybe moisture effects the heat of a pepper. Usually mine are so hot I can only put a few in my salsa. Not this year, I kept tasting, and adding....hope it doesn't heat up with time.

                              I have decided for sure to stay home and watch football probably by myself, I just need to decide what to tell hubby. Fact is, it can be so much work to act happy and bubbly and cheery around a drinking football crowd, and I'm simply not in the mood. Besides, I have a mess in my kitchen to clean up! Hmmmmm....sauna sounds nice too, maybe I'll get mine going tonight as well!
