    AF Daily Sunday Oct 18th 09


    Hello everyone, I've been struggling a bit lately and old habbits are creeping up on me and I don't like it. I want to join in again, hope this is OK with you all. Thought I'd start of the AF daily seeing as no-one else has. It's a beautiful sunny autumn (fall - for some of you!) day - a good day to be positive and a fresh start.

    Of course it's okay Sausage, and welcome back!

    Sorry to hear that you are struggling a little bit, but remember that life is going to be full of ups and downs, and it is how we handle those that define us. Seems like you are on the right track as you realized they were happening and came right back here!

    Late night last night, but a good one. Headed downtown Chi-town to see 'Jersey Boys' with my wife for our 10th anniversary. What an incredible show - I didn't want it to end (its a musical that tells the story of Frankie Valli's life with his music)! Nothing big planned for today so hopefully it will be a little more relaxing. It's amazing how fast time seems to fly by sometimes!

      Morning abbers!

      I am still feeling exhausted. And emotionally void. I thought I would feel elated but I feel empty, like... Well, now what? Think I'll mow the grass. Sorry to be a whiney-butt.

        Hi Sausage, good to see you! Jump right in, we missed hearing from you! Make today a great Day 1. Get outside & enjoy your beautiful weather. We've been stuck in cold rain for the past 4 days.........

        Hi AA, glad you enjoyed your evening out and Happy Anniversary!

        Greenie, I know times have been difficult for you but things WILL start to get better now! Of course you feel exhausted right now, you've been on a long, long roller coaster ride. Get a bit of rest, do healthy things, etc. Now that all that business is over you can focus on yourself, your future! Have you pictured yourself as the Greenie you want to be in the future? It's time for a new plan girl............

        I wish I was young enough to totally reivent myself! Alas, I've waited way too long to do anything so drastic. So I've decided to just do the best to work with what I have......I think I can do it
        I am thoroughly enjoying grandmotherhood. I can enjoy the baby without having the 24-7 responsibility! That's pretty cool. I'm commited to making myself healthier & as fit as possible by keeping my quits so I can continue enjoying my grandson for a long time to come!

        Anyway, have a great AF Sunday one & all!

          Hello friends!
          A quick story about something that happened yesterday.
          We always furnish a couple of thermos coolers full of ice water for my sons little league football games. (11 and 12 year olds) so I fill out of my icemaker but its not working so I open the freezer door and hubby had left a beer in the ice bin now frozen of course. I grumble a little stick it in the fridge and continue filling my thermos cooler with ice. At the first water break all the kids get a drink and start talking and my son comes up to me and says "mom the water tastes like beer!" so I try some and sure enough it does!! It took me quite awhile to figure out what had happened but apparently the frozen beer leaked into the ice! A little embarressing to say the least!

            well, I'm soooper sore after a butt kicking workout yesterday, preceded by a most gratifying visit to the rifle range with friends.
