    NoSlender but Wannabe?? NOVEMBER ABBERCIZERS!!

    I have boot camp tomorrow morning.... I'm not dreading it, yee ha!
    I have had two comments this week that I look like I lost weight, I have always hated compliments, but hey, it felt good this time, after the early mornings, hard work and oh, don't forget the "next day muscle screaming"!!! (can you hear it?). A long way to go though, so just have to try and enjoy the ride.

    By the way, I have no idea what an ARC machine is!

      haven't joined up yet marshy...it's been o nice outside that i have been utilizing the great outdoors! maybe next week whn it's supposed to get cold again! thanks for the nudge...

      im going to rake ouryard and take a big walk today...supposed to get to the mid 70's!!!!

        Wow, enjoy your nice day peace! Gotta take advantage of the nice weather while it lasts..long cold winter ahead, especially here!

        I'm taking today off from the gym. Got my hair colored and cut, and now off to the Adidas outlet store. 40% off everything! Tired of wearing the same tired old work out clothes to the gym and having to wash every day. Shopping is fun !!!!

        Hope everyone has a great day and weekend...!!!

          Marshy and Peace, good to hear that you are enjoying the great outdoors! It was decent here today - sunny and 60. But I did my workout indoors other than rummaging around the garden for the last of the turnips!

          Leelou - they do a boot camp at my gym and I haven't braved that yet. Looks grueling!! I'm sure the compliments are very well deserved! I used to be really uncomfortable with compliments but I'm practicing just saying "thank you!" and accepting them instead of trying to talk people out of them :H!!

          Taz - Retail Therapy is awesome, especially when combined with Peronal Pampering Therapy. What a great day!! You will be stylin' in your workout next time!

          TA DA!! The ARC machine!! And everything you never wanted to know about it, including some video!! The Cybex Arc Trainer I like it because in manual mode I can adjust the resistance and speed to go with the music I pick out. I like timing my cardio to music. And it simple enough it doesn't feel confusing like actual dancing or anything.

          For Friday:

          10 minute Cardio Warmup on the ......you guessed it....ARC MACHINE!!
          Lower body workout
          Abs
          20 minutes Cardio on...you know what machine!!

                This sounds good, especially the LBD, the problem's been the 'little' part of it!

                For me it's fitness with animals, fit and toned for them and me! We had a workout this morning with a Labradoodle. Next week's the start of a new horse riding regimen.

                I've lost nine pounds so far not doing very much so the eventual outcome should be great.

                  :b&d: Today was my day off! YAY!! I still haven't gone for my "recover from figure skating in Japan last night" nap, but I'm about to!!

                  Gold, congrats on the 9 pounds. You are right, with some focus you will TOTALLY put the "L" in "LBD!"

                    For today:

                    10 minute warmup on the arc
                    Upper Body Workout
                    20 minutes cardio on the arc

                    I did some random sets of big boy pushups between other weight sets that happened to be near the front desk. One of the ladies who works there commented about my push ups. She's like I was - I could barely do 1 boy push up when I first started with PT and now I do sets of 15. She is thinking about signing up to work with my PT.

                      Oh DG,,you make me feel guilty! I was home with my sick son all day yesterday...today I was able to get out and get the raking finished so at least I got my body moving in some way. Tomorrow back at spin class. A full 60 minute class so it's a tough one.

                      The adidas sale was great! Got lots of nice workout stuff. I love it at the register when they say "You saved $100.00"!!! LOL..ya right!

                      And big boy pushups???? Holy crap, I think maybe I can do 2. You are an animal! I want to sign up with your PT!!!!

                        boy push-ups, with these d-cup "girls" on my chest..i think not...

                        i'm going to do some hardcore stuff today...don't know what yet, but i plan on burning 1000 calories or more.

                        probably run, bowflex, abs and finish it off with a nice bike ride.

                            In the program from the lose kilos for charity challenge I joined, they call AL "liquid phat/fat!

                              Leelou... :H at that great list!! I do NOT want to think about all the extra arcing and weights and push ups etc. it would take to burn off all the extra "phat" that comes with AL!!!! Good motivation!

                              I am still home bound not wanting to spread this germ around at the gym. I HATED having to cancel my PT for today. Haven't had to miss a session since the surgery in early July. I might dredge up some internet videos and figure out some torture to do with my big ball here at home.

                                I really wanna be slender!!!

                                Last night I went on a 4 kilometer walk with a close friend, then watched tv with my diet coke and ice, then proceeded to eat Doritoes, a tuna salad sandwich-on white
                                bread no less, some cheesies, and a handful of chips.
                                Hmmm, maybe I shouldn't have told you that, maybe shoulda just said I ate a bunch of crap!!

                                This has been going on for about a week now-nightly. I've done my gardening/getting ready for Fall deal. Sorry DG, you live too far away. :H:H

                                Seems the advice of 'do not have that junk in your house' should work, except I have kids who eat well, and exercise thru playing and biking and anyway,
                                I would hunt something else up from my freezer, fridge, cupboards, car trunk, neighbours

                                I eat well during the day so as not to be starving at night, but it's not helping. Looks like I need an appetite suppressant, but one which is safe. Or an activity.
                                Or maybe I should lock myself in a room after 8pm and read for a couple weeks to get myself out of the habit of munching.
