Hey, thank you for the birthday cheer! I really did have a good birthday. Snow on the mountains of Tennessee on my birthday, our first snow this winter--wonderful. A little redneck sledding--that is a four wheeler pulling the kids behind on a plastic disk through the trails--don't tell my wife.
What continues to make this journey so rewarding is the richness of a life well lived. My third birthday sober. Like many, I wondered what I'd do for fun once I was fun no longer. I do like who I am and how easily I live each day--best birthday of my life, I mean it for any reading this who are in there first days or weeks AF, it is a great way to live.
