At 12 after noon today it'll be 12:12 12/12. Just so you know. :H
I'm off to the coast today to spend the afternoon with a GF from 5th grade. She is there for a wedding. She loves to walk around the beautiful city and this bitter cold is nothing to her, living in MD. BUT! I inherited my monther's mink jacket. I best wear a hat so those staples in my head don't freeze. Then I come back to go to husb #1 birthday party. I'll stop by the nursing home on the way back. First I'll check the weather and if it's going to sleet I won't do either one. One of these days I'll get a real car!
PS She's not much of a drinker and knows I don't so no presure to celebrate the visit.
Hope everyone is well!
From an overweight, middle aged, alcoholic of course.

Have fun with your girlfriend and STAY WARM. Your mother's mink jacket sounds very cute. I belong to a Working Women's group and they had a fashion show at the November luncheon. It featured a fabulous collection of "vintage" clothing that a woman here in town as assembled over the years. There were so many gorgeous dresses, and shoes and hats. And fur coats, jackets and stoles from the 40's/50's. That's what your jacket mention made me think of - it was a wonderful event! Fashion tip: Don't wear that jacket outside over your robe when fig snitching.
I will no longer give the BEAST any power over me - he can go straight to hell.
