    Apple Cider Vinegar

    Hi Spotty !

I have a bottle of it in my fridge unopened. It was given to me by my son's girlfriends Dad who raves about the overall health benefits of it. I've been afraid to try it, as I thought it might upset my already "acid" filled stomach. I think I'll try it a little bit at a time. I'll try anything for Al cravings.

Thanks so much for the info.

And, I've been dehydrating yams into veg jerky for my dogs. Spray a bit of amino on 'em and dehydrate. The dogs luv 'em and they're healthy and cheap. I was paying $17 US for a bag that lasted 4 days, now I'm making my own and its great. Yams are about 75 cents a pound here.
I give it to our horses, it's good for their overall health and deters flies! I've started giving it to my dogs too. Perhaps I will eventually get around to myself

I like the idea of dehydrating yams into veg jerky spotty dingo, is it necessary to have a dehydrator to do it?
I love you, I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you.

Just as an aside, I mentioned that I have it for horses and it is very much cheaper from a horse feed supplier than anything else I've seen. The one I buy is organic in a 5 litre container that works out at ?3.84/litre (just over 2 US pints) compared to ?3.19 for 473ml (1 US pint) bought conventionally!

That's interesting! We were giving it to our dogs for awhile but one of our dogs had an issue with it. She has "issues" with practically everything except raw chicken and turkey. (don't get me started on some of the genetically negative breeding practices within some breeds of dogs!) Should probably get back to giving some to the other dogs in addition to me. And checking at the feed store!

Me too. I had a dog who would sniff the water bowl and not touch it if I had put vinegar in it. The others didn't care, but I didn't want her to not drink. I think we have tack shops somewhere at home.

OK. So I put 2 Tbs of Bragg's Vinegar with the MuThuh in a large glass of water with a little Stevia. I tried to sip it but GAG. So I chugged it. Now I feel like I have some sort of buzz and not in a good way! I sure hope this feeling passes quickly! And all I could think about was spinach. :H

I put the vinegar on their food, they're much too fussy about water, they won't drink water left overnight but lap up the green stinky stuff outside!

I read on the Braggs site where they recommend mixing it with filtered water and raw honey? 2tsp each? Should make it a bit more palitable and tastier?

They also have several other products including sea kelp seasoning, which is low in sodium, yet may be the answer to my husband who over salts EVERYTHING! Check out their website...just google Braggs

kelp seasoning is pretty tasty too. There is something about yen/yang balance with the cider vinegar and honey, but I can't quite recall......it's is a good thing whatever it was.
