Taking my sweet old time getting into gear this morning! Could Spring fever be setting in already? :H

I have a little work this morning but the rest of the day is devoted to my herb garden - time to see what survived & what didn't survive the nasty winter we had.

A few hours messing around in the herbs sounds like good therapy...

My hayfever is starting up now the blossoms are out, anyone know of a good homepathic remedy?

Only two days till I go to London, shops and civilization..... yipee!

The gardening seminar was pretty interesting. It was about vegetable gardening. There is a "spring fling" at the botanical gardens at the zoo saturday - think I'll check that out if it's a nice day. It's sunny today, but only 46 degrees so far. Brrrrr.....

Cleaned out a closet looking for something and found vitamins I hid. That's a new one. :H

Hi Greeniefingers.

DDW has texted me asking if I want to meet up again. Eeek. I assumed she'd also thought it was a bit of a dead loss.

I've signed up to a deal which allows me to swim in a bunch of different pools. Going to try out my local lido on the way in to work tomorrow. I fancy swimming outdoors in the spring - but not so much that I'm going to plunge into the Thames :H

Ahhh the DDW saga continues . . .I have something new to live for!

Interesting about going to multiple pools - I know that we don't have anything like that here - wish we had something like that with gym memberships.

Chill - it IS tiring blowing those huge bubbles & chasing them aound the yard :H
My allegy symptoms are not real bad until everyoneb starts cutting grass around here - then I go nuts!!! I'm still searching for a decent treatment

Marshy - I have chocolate mint in my herb garden - yum, it makes great tea!
And yes, it survived our 50+ inches of snow!
Don't go jumping in the dirty old river - stick with the nice swimming pools! You'll come out smelling a lot nicer :H

I have to work up the energy to clean out the chicken coop this weekend. We till the contents into our veggie garden every Spring - makes a fantastic, free, organic fertilizer.
Greenie - want me to send you some for your garden????

I plan to throw myself a big party here Friday - my one year anniversary, hope you will all celebrate with me

Hi Abbie Fabbies!! It's been a busy stretch for me Mary Kaying and dreaming of pink SUV's. (yes - I saw a pink Cadillac high end, first class SUV at the MK convention over the weekend!) World Championships of figure skating started today and I've already missed half of it. Oh well. Such is the busy life of a former drinker.

CONGRATULATIONS FG on 30 DAYS AF!! :yougo: WOO HOO!

And Lav, I can't WAIT for your party. One year is a big deal!! Can you send me some chicken poop too for my garden???

Marshy, I am sad that I must have missed some on-going DDW drama? I hate when that happens! I am living vicariously through you single ones!!!

Greenie, you KNOW sobriety has taken hold (and all kinds of clean living!) when all you find hidden is the vitamins!! (either that or early alzheimers has taken hold! :H)

US Dance team #1 is in 2nd place after the compulsory dance and both of the US pairs have skated well in the short program. The porny Russian pair skaters are yet to come but I'm sure they will not disappoint in the eye candy department. Life is good. (I know you were all dying to know what was happening in the world of sequins and :bling!)

Most of all, I am grateful to be sober.

Ya gotta love spring in Nebraska! 60+ degrees yesterday--snowing, blowing blizzard tonight!:H At least warmer temps are in the near future.
