    AF daily - Monday April 19th

    Ab fabbers!

    Gorgeous sunny day here. I've been for a swim and bought these stripy chrysanthemums on the way home.



    Off to my book group tonight. Haven't finished the book :no: but I've read it before so should be able to blag it.

    Hi Marshy and all to follow........
    My days/weeks have been so scrambled, I have not been near PC much, so missing posts, but hey, no sore ribs, no sickness, I still have my head on the right way from a housefull of guests, and they're not all gone yet!

    Cycling to work this week, as car loaned to guests....

    Feeling it after being in bed sick etc.. but enjoyed todays ride... our city is really bike friendly!
    Have an interesting week ahead with my wish to know natural father before I turn 40... due to issues that came up at natural grandmothers funeral... long story, barely time to process all the info... crap timing with houseful of 'main' family here.... but suprisingly coping so well! I am so glad that AL doesn't blur things for me right now.... OMG I would be a mess at 40 if it did... instead, I'll just be unfit!!!

    There are only a few more frangipani flowers blooming... seasons are changing!!!

      Hi guys,

      super tired here and hating Monday's but what ya gonna do.

      I am starting to notice the effects of Campral now after 12 days - just kind of takes the edge off - still need will power but not like the white knuckle type. So I'm good with that.

      Busy day so must fly - hope everyone is well.

        Hello friends,

        I'm happy to hear everyone sounding so well and to see some new "faces" here on monthly abs!
        My weekend women's retreat was really, really nice. I had forgotten how beautiful and peaceful the mountains are--magical almost. It felt great to spend some quiet spiritual time alone reconnecting with nature and appreciating all of the beautiful gifts from God.
        The fellowship was amazing as well. It was hard to leave and come back to the real world.
        But, here I am, life goes on. Hectic as ever. It will take some effort to stop myself, breathe and bring back that inner peace, but I will try.

          LTV25 - Your retreat sounds wonderful! I could so use one of them right now.....
          Woke up a bit blue - must be orbiting the dark side of the moon today!

          I cant believe how quiet it is here with no planes in the sky, I live 15 minutes from the airport and am used to the steady flow overhead, its kinda spooky....

            Morning fab abs!

            Nothing new here and that's fine. Pretty flowers, marshy, I bought myself some yesterday. I had a fecking COUPON that expired yesterday. :H Really, I will cough up the 4 bucks for alestromeria (?) to have flowers in the house. I've figured out they have a date on them and I've become more selective.

            I had a spell of resentment yesterday in the tundra while mowing weeds. Grumbling about having to spend the time and effort for weeds, dirt & rocks, blah, blah, blah. Then I paused for a moment and decided to instead be grateful for the little patch of land that was my own. And in spite of all the repairs and maintenance the house needs at the moment, grateful to have a roof over my head and enough money to scrape up to fix things.

            So life is good.

            LVT, mountains do that for me too.
