    Just a quick note to open todays thread. Popper is back! Some of you may recall that Popper is a little bird that built a next over one of our seldom used doors to the house. Mr. D. saw some motion up there yesterday (first we noticed, but obviously she's been there awhile). He re-installed PopperCam and she's got at least two babies in there!

    I've been watching the Owl cam from Southern CA for quite some time now. Very interesting indeed watching the 4 eggs hatch & the owlets growing day by day. They are getting quite large now & will begin fledging in about a week or so.

    Had a nice visit today with a friend & former coworker. We used to bust our butts in the hospital together for many years. Our kids have grown up & moved on. We are both enjoying our first grandchildren now!
    I needed a nice day like this

      Hi Lav! Wow - thanks for the owl link! Mr. D will love that I just sent it to him. I'm so glad to hear that you had a nice "friend" day. I dropped off a Mary Kay order to a new customer from yesterdays Curves day. We chatted for awhile - she is having some family troubles right now and we talked about how you can't pick your family but you can pick your friends - pick the good ones! (like Greenie's thoughts! ) Good friends are such a precious gift.

        You're just not kidding DG :H

        This particular friend I saw today has turned out to be very kind & understanding!
        I guess it's the old nurse vibes we continue to send out to each other.
        I think we are both much nicer people since we left our profession

          hey you two, nice to 'see you' and thanks for the cool links.

          I sinned terribly today. had a huge piece of chocolate/icecream cake after dinner tonight. oink-a-roo!
