    G'day Abbsville,

    Hope all of you survived Friday night without getting off the wagon. I've been off for two days now, and feeling pretty pathetic ... Anyway, hope to board the wagon as off today - yet again ...

    It's funny how a mixture of emotion, fatigue and all sorts of chemistry can throw you off course, despite the best will. Anyway, ... hope to regain my composure today.

        paddy there is a technique or tool called H.A.L.T used by AA members.
        it means hungry,angry,lonely,tired ---this combo is bad for alkys.so eat
        try to calm your self down,try to be social and get some rest.
        keep at it you will be ok

                Hi Paddy

                Brush yourself off, love! We've all been there! I find the H.A.L.T. technique useful. I also find that I might also be anxious, sad, or tense, too, and that will trigger wanting a drink. Those dang FEELINGS!! Learning to cope with then without drinking is truly a learning curve! But we are all here together, and I want to encourage you to keep trying!
