Such a busy thread here today

Good morning everyone & thank you for all the links - I will look at everything today!

And I will add everyone to my prayer list, I believe in the power of prayer.

The gooseberry jam turned out nice........wasn't so sure at first. Usually Mr Lav just picks & eats them all. Thinking about opening a jam store - and brown egg store

Well, better get out & check on my hens. I feel bad for them in this excessive heat, the least I can do is freshen up their water.

Thanks everyone for the AA thread link and all the links to meditation etc. When I get a few minutes today I will look at them and maybe try at least the prayer tonite before bed. I am totally into being barefoot in the grass (even tho I have 3 dogs :H ).

Pings to the woman whose daughter is undergoing a masectomy today and to Marshy's mom and her dad.

Well, i'm at work now so better start doing some!! :H

OK, the sheriff was here. I answered the door looking like the wild woman from borneo and little doggie leapt on him a couple times before I could even say hello. He was looking for FH to give him restraining orders from the old GF/receptionist. :H:H Seems they are accusing each other of assault and are getting restraining orders against each other. I have to say, she is an unmedicated loose cannon and I hope nobody gets hurt. One thing is for sure, I won't.

Tut, tut.... sleep with dogs.......

I didn't know about Mary's daughter (I don't read the AA thread). I hope she's bearing up OK.

Greenie, one ear still BUNGED UP. So much gunk in it the nurse couldn't shift it. Yum!

Just for fun & giggles this afternoon I went online & purchased this:
Bun Pan - New England Hotdog

I love baking anything! I'm not really a hotdog eater but you can stuff anything in these buns. Apparently you can also fill this pan with chocolate cake batter then slice the 'buns' & fill them with fruit & other good dessert stuff like peppermint ice cream YUM!!!!
I could always just fill them with raspberry jam!

Hi Abbers,

Been really busy and little time to post but things are going well.

DG, thank you so much for reminding me of Mary and her girl today.

I had it on my calendar but didn't have time to log in and send good wishes.

Meanwhile, I'll pop over to the AA thread and send some good wishes. I hope Mary logs in and lets us know what is going on.

That was REALLY GOOD ice cream. I took peppermint candy to the shoppe and had them crush it and mix with sweet cream ice cream. Plus my card was full so it was my free one. There was a thunderstorm a bit earlier and things cooled off so I sat outside by the water fountain in front of the movie theatres for some people watching with a very nice sunset as a backdrop. Oh yes, and htere was a rainbow on the way there. Sweet!!
