Rebirth - You have just completed your 1st month AF and in the early days it is SO important to have no trigger or temptations in your way. It has to be the no.1 priority in your life bar none. You will go through different stages at which time you will probably be ok with your partner drinking in front of you but for now if he can understand how important this is for you thats great. You certainly dont need him to be in the huff that you are ruining his fun so be careful it worries me that you said he is annoyed.
for the 1st couple of months I rarely was in the company of drinkers then as I felt more confident I started to go out more with friends for dinner. Even at 3/4 months I found dangerous triggers going back to places where I associated with drinking and I still find airports and planes difficult as i always used travelling to get plastered! Only last month did I finally buy alcohol and have it in the house for guests and that was a huge deal to me. All these are stepping stones to recovery and its important you go at your own pace.
AF wine is a complete no no, its creating an illusion that you are still drinking. We have to face our issue with AL and embrace sobriety as our friend and be proud of it.
