Well I missed quite a bit of drama over the past few days. Papmom I LOVED the paragraph you wrote sounding like a soap opera. Hillarious!
DG so glad everything is back to normal. I really liked the way you listed the 5 things you and Mr. Doggy felt. It was a funny line of reasoning, but so true! Oh how our emotions can make irrational leaps.
Bear - I certainly took my time getting to the precarious state I am currently in. So I'm still too new to offer much advice. However, it seems to me you have not yet 'accepted' what you need to do. You are still playing at it. What will it take for you to make the decision that really you see yourself as a non-drinkier? I do mean this warmly.
Hi Uni, glad your women's group worked out. I actually think that without the male influence (sorry G!) women can do more to help each other. DG I know you have uncertainties with this but I'd say keep trying! Women can be so catty - I was in a chat a few weeks ago about personal growth and several women said they had the personal goal of not knocking other women down and being mean when something good happens to them, or if they seem like they have something good going on in their lives. Not knocking men, but I think for most women our behavior changes, subtly or not, when men are around.
Greenie - you silly billy queenie! I look forward to hearing what escapade you are up to today. I want some figs!
Mom3 - scuba? Ouch, makes my ears hurt just to think about it.
LV - sounds like your weekend was busy too.
Well I will be off and on for a while, although it seems like whenever I think I'll be off it turns out I have more time on!
More later as the clouds roll in.
