G!! That's wonderful! Maybe you could help moi? :confusedmonkey: At least find my mojo?

Marshy, I found an empty neroli bottle I was thinking I'd send you but it was rank. I'd want to smell it first too as pricey as it is.

With all this talk about the hurricane I mowed the grass but the forecast here (and at the coast) is sunny through labor day. Now I guess I better water.

I'm thinking early night too. I'm not feeling like the doggy park - I've already been over there once today.

Will defo share more about that employment training DG. They wanted me to facilitate 8 x weekly 2 hr. sessions from sept. 9, but i'll be on holiday's, so next opportunity is apparently in january. Looking forward to it, and also interested in men's health issues, especially emotional health, which i want to get stuck into real soon.

Greenie, now, re your missing mojo. Do you exercise in any way shape or form? Serious question.

Wishing folk's in hurricane area's a safe one!

          Hello Folks:

Yes, this is a busy crowd today! What a way to end the month and begin a new September!

Thanks to all of you for your best wishes regarding my surgery next week. It is amazing that they can even do something like this so I will be very thankful when it is finished and I am completely healed and running half-marathons again - how's that for a POSITIVE attitude!

I am planning on stocking up on some books at Barnes and Noble this weekend so I'll have plenty of reading materials and probably buy a new television this weekend for the bedroom so I can enjoy Oprah and others on a larger flat screen! (I may as well take advantage of the situation, right?)

We are still trying to figure out the logisitics of my first few days at home. My partner will be here in the morning before work and then in the evenings. I may need someone to come in during the day for a couple of days to help out. I'll get that figured out by the end of this week. I get to go to "crutches training" for an hour on Thursday - gotta' love it.

M3 - I haven't seen the news since I got home from work but earlier today they were saying the Carolinas were on alert because of Hurricance Earl - BE CAREFUL.

Hope everyone else OK. Tomorrow is HUMP DAY already and we are coming up on a long holiday weekend here in the States.....

          Good evening everyone!

paguy, don't want to scare you but I am a retired nurse - orthopedics was my specialty. Feel free to ask me anything........I'm happy to help
Why not check & see if your insurance will cover the cost of a home health aide for a few days........couldn't hurt!

Had my fill of exercise today chasing EB around........where do they get all that energy???

M3, keep an eye on the weather channel. My poor niece was stationed at Homestead AFB when hurricane Andrew blew thru. It took out the home she had just purchased & her car. What a terrible time that was - you watch out!

My feet are up, just gonna kick back till bedtime.
            Wishing everyone a peaceful night.

              Paguy,

Good luck with your surgery next week! Gosh, that's great that they could schedule your surgery. I severely twisted my knee at work last week and haven't been able to exercise and will not until tomorrow. Horrible pain so I feel for you. Follow Nurse Lav's advice....I followed her advice on Saturday morning and I swear that I am recovering faster than I thought because I listened to her. Try and get the home health aide!
