Pa, for me, that immediate thought/reaction when i was rattled or upset of 'i need a drink' (the old 'coping' mechanism), has dissapeared. Gone. That thought doesn't occur for me anymore, which i put down to just a bit of af time under our belt's, and working our sobriety, quality of life. Many other folk say the same, so that response should change for you at some stage. Hang in there, and that cast will be off before you know it.

Ugh!
Nine hours now with no power. The generator is taking care of the very basics.........I have running water, can flush toilets so I shouldn't complain. Need a candle to light up the way though.
No work done, the chickies are sitting in the dark but they'll have to get over it too

A very late check in from me as it's 2am here, I just got home from a night out with my Sisters, one got extremely drunk and will feel like shit tomorrow when we have a family lunch out planned with my parents. This final day of September has been a busy one on this thread and lots I want to respond to, but for now I really need to say goodnight.
