He's grown up in CA, has a degree in Philosophy -

I feel like a should make a speech or something..........Don't worry, I won't. You guys here all know what it's all about. Commitment to a goal that can be life changing. I am so very grateful that I quit drinking and smoking when I did. Maybe it was timing on my part that make it easier than it is for some.....I don't know. But I know several of you that have lots of AF time under your belt had to work extremely hard to get sober. I am so happy that we have gone through this incredible journey together. I'd love to go to Club Med with DG to celebrate, but can't quite see that happening. :upset:

Yesterday turned out to be kind of eventful. For several years now my dentist has been watching these "calcifications" on my lower jaw. On my last visit the panoramic x-ray showed they had gotten larger and there were more. So he consulted with a specialist and decided I needed a CT scan. They have a special one that does heads only so I had that done yesterday evening before my son's football game. It sure is an uneasy feeling not knowing what is going on, and knowing what it could be. So if you all wouldn't mind sending some of that white light my way...... I managed to sneak in about 30 minutes of power shopping to reward me for my good behavior these past 2 years.

Lav, someone I know moved to Santa Monica and changed her name to "Rain Bow." I think they put something in the water. Sage Brush is way cooler.

Rebirth, I seem to have the panic attacks under control now, too, not sure how. Quitting smoking 10 years ago really helped; nicotine really kicked anxiety into high gear (and I did it to "calm" myself...:hitme.
