    October Optimism - Week 4

Morning everyone. Cyn I saw your comment about Welsh Tea - its very good tea isn't it?

I don't speak welsh so won't be any help to you, my husband has been learning it for a long time - its a very confusing language!

Had the most hectic weekend, 2 choir performances and then a day of family visiting yesterday and I'm really looking forward to some normality this week.

Haven't had time to read back, just wanted to log in and say hi

      Good morning guys!

I got back to Portugal very late last night and slept in this morning, lots to read back on so I will catch up later, just to say the weekend was wonderful! Couldn't have been better and I'm home knowing I've turned some virtual friends into some very special real friends :l

Wishing you all a great Monday and final October week, any suggestions for our November name?

        October Optimism - Week 4

        Good morning everyone

Cold and frosty here this morning, first time to see my car covered in frost. It's a holiday here so hubby off work and the teens under my feet so wont get much computer time. Glad you enjoyed your week-end in Dublin Chill. Here are some readings I thought I'd share:

        "Better bend than break."
        -- Scottish Proverb

Dis-ease: to be controlling, stiff, uncomfortable and unbending.

Sobriety: being relaxed, comfortable and flexible in my personal life and my interaction
        with others.

Life: not a race but an experience; it is not an exercise but an adventure.

I guess that sums up Al and being Al free. It certainly is a much freer, relaxed and comfortable lifestyle.

Some ideas for November: November Nirvana, Novemer nationwide, Naughty November! November Noodles, November Nostalgia.

        Have a great week everyone.

            October Optimism - Week 4

            Good morning to all.

I am really struggling this morning. I had a horrible night's sleep, and think I may have to break down and find a doctor. Hot flashes, anxiety, it is really getting to me. I am going to try to eat less and only fresh natural foods. Also, only two cups of coffee in the morning. I wanted to exercise before work, but feel really exhausted, so may just do some stretching. I am a mess at the current time. Sorry to be so negative.

Chill, I would love to hear about your weekend.

Rustop, thanks again for the quotes.

            Papmom, you sound great.

Dill, LBH, REbirth, Cyn, Lav, Sooty, G, PA, have a good Monday, AF.

                    Good Monday Morning Friends,

Rustop-in keeping up with my alleged reputation for being incorrigible, I would like to suggest these names: November Narcissism, November Nipples, November Nuances...

Help!....I'd say this is a job for our wordsmith, Ladybird.

Ladybird....where are you.....we need you. I'm about to be banned from this thread. Save me!!!:H

                    Star-I hope you're feeling better soon....sending you :l

G-I'm glad to see you back! I missed you!

I think Chill dumped McDreamy and is now on a rendezvous with another MWO member. Chill, PLEASE....inquiring minds want to know. I think I'm going to explode here.:nutso:

PA-Could did you post your recipe for Chicken Piccata in the Recipe Corner? I know it's spectacular if you cooked it. Chef PA....the new host of our MWO Reality Cooking Show.

Wow, I certainly woke up in a good mood this morning. Well, off to the gym before work.

Have a great AF day everyone!

                    With love from Naughty Rusty!

                        Happy, Happy (ugh) Monday!

Rusty ? Now we have 2 words to describe you ? incorrigible AND naughty ? I LOVE it! And yes, I did post my Chicken Piccata recipe in the Recipe Corner ? here it is: https://www.mywayout.org/community/f8...rts-44995.html

Star ? Sorry you are having on off day. Sending hugs your way :l

I was in a bit of a funk yesterday so I decided to go to bed early (9pm) and I did get a good night?s sleep so I feeling much better this morning. Whenever I want to get a good night?s sleep, I?ve been taking 3mg of Melatonin and it seems to work well. Does anyone else have any experience with Melatonin?

I think the reason I was in a funk yesterday was I got to the gym and it suddenly hit me how much work I have to do to get back into shape. I was totally focused on upper body strengthening and it?s the first time I tried to exercise since I dislocated my shoulder earlier in the summer. So, I really have to stay focused and take it easy so I don?t injure myself again. Focus and patience? I?m in this for the long haul!

Chill ? Sounds like the meet up in Dublin was a success. I continue to find it amazing how a common thread can bring total strangers together and create bonds and friendships. This is the positive side of the human spirit.

I may attempt to drive into the office a couple of days this week but for now I am still working from home. I am finding that I still need to keep my foot elevated throughout the day to be most comfortable. Taking one week at a time here.

Well, folks, have to get moving here. Hope all of you have a peaceful start of the week?

                          October Optimism - Week 4

                          Happy Monday morning???

Woke up in a sweat myself this moring Red(Star)! With me it all has to do with 'something' I ate yesterday...........this is such a boreass. White pasta causes hot flashes/night sweats - no question!

Had a fun time shoveling out (the other side) of the chicken coop yesterday. Wanted to get it cleanned up & prepared for the new kids. Not sure when I'll move them over but at least it's ready. They will have access to the fenced yard & the ability to run in & out to play

I need to turn my attention to work this morning & hopefully find time to run out for a hair cut this afternoon. Life is so exciting :H:H

Hope everyone has a terrific AF Monday
