Good Morning All,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREENIE!!

Happy Friday to one and all. It sounds like everyone is in good form today. I love having a positive thread like this to start my day. Today is a busy one for me, so quick hello yet again. My mouth is still quite sore from being traumatized at the dentist yesterday. I'm 37 years old and have not ever cried at the dentist, until yesterday! Oh well, it's behind me now and I have a happy, clean mouth now!

Will check in later tonight to see how everyone's day went. I'll have more access to a computer this weekend, so I can maybe get caught up with everyone.

Also thanks to everyone who posted to me yesterday. I think I may not have articulated myself clearly yesterday. I didn't "relapse" as such. I made a conscious decision to knock back booze on Wednesday to see if I still liked it or not. I found that I did not like it one little bit. To me this is wonderful because it means I am looking at alcohol not as something fun that I've had to give up but rather as something gross that I don't even want anyway. Prior to this I had been considering doing AF for 30 days and then *possibly* drinking in moderation after that. Now I've decided that I don't want even a moderate amount of alcohol in my life. I feel great. Everyone has their own way of doing things and this is mine.

I'm back after a week of sorting out my sister's stuff. I had 4 separate to-do lists, and I got thru all of them. My capacity for action is definitely coming along in leaps and bounds. Time to address the empty fridge.

Evening everyone,

What a day! Had a load of gravel delivered and because of all the rain we had the dump truck sunk in the new drive and we had to do a lot of raking and shovelling and the wheelbarrow had a good use today. Wont be able to get cement poured yet, hopefully soon before the real cold weather hits. Just ordered another new window for my bedroom and that will arrive in 2-3 weeks and then my dad will pop that in for me...and it just started to snow! I am a little tired..but my mother brought over some really yummy seafood chowder she made for dinner and it just hit the spot after us all working all day.

I've travelled quite a bit and I've really enjoyed it. Most was for pleasure, but when I moved to Korea and France it was for work, as well as pleasure. Little Gia was lucky as well so far and has lived in a beautiful suburb in Paris, been to Mexico and parts of Canada.. she's climbed the Great Wall, but she was in my 8 month belly so I give her points for being for there, and other places..lol
