Hello and welcome lily! I went to a party last night and was the only one not drinking until someone came in and after a while looked at the big glass of punch he was drinking (almost finished) and said, "There uh... isn't uh.. anything uh...in here is there?" I had to focus on keeping my eyebrows from involuntarily raising in alarm. Turns out there wasn't. Four years and he'd let his guard down. I made a very large mental note. Parties can be tough to navigate - smart of you to stay home, lily. Do whatever it takes!

Indeed it is. And frustrating too. But you help a lot of people here and someone might have read what you wrote and quietly taken notice of the advice rather than throwing it back at you. You were one of the people who were instrumental in helping this drunk out of my pit.

:H:H The more I study this gossip thing, the more I realize it is judgement. Now I'm searching for the line between evaluation and judgement. Is there one? The more I try to figure out the universe, the more confusing it is. Quicksand. And it is hard for me to be still, in many ways.
