The sheet of ice is so hard, little doggie doesn't break through in some places. I wish I'd used the leaf blower on the driveway yesterday AM. Didn't think of that. Hopefully it'll melt by Thursday when I need to get out.

Morning everyone,

Morning to you Greenie. Time to listen to you post and lift my spirits. I like the message.

We're expecting another snow storm here tomorrow, time to head to the grocery store to get some more milk and bread and snacking food. (big sigh). I don't mind winter but I'm ready for Spring now. I planted all these new trees in the fall and I'm anxious to see them in bloom. I planted apple, cherry and plum trees..Wisteria, butterfly bushes, more lilacs, forsynthia's, lots of beautiful sedums, wooly thyme and all kinds of sunflowers and sage and more that I can't remember...I just would love to see a flower. I think I might be getting a touch of the winter blues.

Hi Folks
Just a quick drop in to say I'm still here. Stressful days - EW I decided to knock ciggs on the head aswell. Read Alan carr again!! so its the end of day two. But yesterday everything decided to go wrong from my only mode of transport - my bike giving up the ghost need a new one... Supervisor asking me to do additional work I cant fit in etc etc..... moan moan moan.
But still AF and 2 days NF.
Tomorrow will be better

We're right behind you storm-wise, Lav. Due to start around midnight. I need to shop but can't muster much enthusiasm for venturing out this dreary day. Don't have much choice though, since my first visit to a dentist is four years is midafternoon. Embarrassed by how long I waited; 3 fillings missing (but they were in the back where no one could see them, so who cares...?).

Green bean, I love the quote. It reminds me of a postcard I saw once: "The whole world is conspiring in your favor." It was such the opposite of how I was feeling--always poised and tensed for the next disaster. I'm going to add it to my inspiration file.

I've been away for a long weekend with XNGF - log cabin in the woods with a real fire and a jacuzzi. Fabulous. Now we're back we're adjusting to real life of having to do our own cooking and cleaning, and are having to have a few "talks" about division of labour :H Just in from seeing 127 Hours and heading to bed.

Hello All,

Just a quick check in to say Hey!! Super, super busy with work deadlines. And, I've found a new love: Hot Yoga. Yep, vinyasa style yoga in a room heated to 95 degrees. It is wonderful. Took my first class on New Year's day and have been back 5 times since then.

Getting snow here tonight which means that school will probably be canceled or delayed tomorrow.

Is DG back yet?

Hi M3! Hot yoga sounds pretty good on this chill night. They've already called a snow day here--stocked up on cocoa and DIY lunch food so I can get a little work done tomorrow.

D3 is not back yet; and she better be by her 1000 day milestone or no (low carb) cocoa for her.

Howdy!

Snow storm just started here about 2 hours ago. What is up with this shit weather? As pretty as it is, I, too, am sick and tired of the COLD weather, and these freak-out snow storms we have been getting; which is quite uncommon for around here! Anyway, Gia, I am with you on this one. I cannot wait for Spring! I cannot wait to see a flower. However, your neck of the woods is much worse than mine this time of year. I can understand why you may be feeling a bit 'bluey'!

Had a good training #2 today. Depending on the weather; may have a 'snow day' tomorrow. LOL! Gosh, this tiny town I live in is really hilarious.
