Good morning AF'ers!!

Wakey Wakey! I've got my room painted a powder pink (Abby Cadabby to be exact) and it looks a little girly for me but it was for Little Gia, this room will be hers and I'll be getting one later on in the new addition so I figured why not paint it now when the new window went in. With the chandelier and all the sparklies I have it looks a little old Hollywood glam, powder room style.

Coffee is on. Disney is on the TV and we're having a great morning. Up early so I'm able to tackle things and I'll be moving onto her room later today to declutter and organize and hopefully find something to donate. She has a lot of toys.

I hope everyone had a great night, another AF week for me and sober Saturday morning.

I have also had a really productive start to the day. I took the cat to the vet to get him ready for emigrating to the States, did a work out and now off to do some work that I had to take home this weekend. Its nice to wake up AF and see how much you get accomplished. I might even get up early tomorrow too.

Day 13 for me and I'm up early feeling GREAT. Another hot yoga class this morning with my two daughters.

It's minus something outside this weekend so i will start getting some stuff around the house done, organizing and fixing things i've left for far too long.

Geeezzz I feel guilty sitting here in jammies. Well, not really... At least I'm not eating chips and dip too.

I'm knackered from the past two day's 2 hour hikes. It amazes me that as queen of the universe I can get so lost in the woods. I'd say at least 50% of my hikes include getting lost. It's really cold and windy. So, today is an inside day. I think it's a d9 some reading and a Pillars of the Earth DVD kinda day. I can't do organizing stuff since I'm in someone elses house. It might confuse them. :H

One thing's for sure..... I won't be in their liquor cabinet!

I can totally relate to getting lost on hikes! Every time I go hill walking in Scotland I get lost at least once. I find that when I go hiking in the US, it's signposted so much better.

I haven't been out in ages. I am not a fan of the cold and wind. I am looking forward to the spring to get back out there! I much prefer hiking in the heat. Crazy, I know.

It'a a chilly 14 degrees here at the moment, not my favorite weather!

Cassia, when are you moving to the states & where may I ask? That's very exciting!!!

Greenie, that would be hysterical if you rearranged that house & left the owners clueless :H Sounds kinda mean but funny.

No outdoor hikes planned for me today - too freaking cold & frozen out there for me.
I will walk as far as the chicken coop to check on my kids but that's it

I have to take my daughter to hockey this afternoon but other than that I plan on putting away some laundry and having an inside day. Movies and cuddles on the couch tonight.

Good Morning All,

Happy to be on the other end of a major work deadline this week. Very intense week plus my daughter is having some difficulty adjusting to medications and it has been pretty challenging.

MStall...congrats on 13 days. You should be very proud of yourself and keep up the good work.

It is freakin cold here too but fortunately we have escaped all of the snow. I am saying that with my fingers crossed because last year in February, the Washington, DC area was walloped with record breaking amounts of snow.

I'm off to a 2 1/2 hour "Foundations of Flow" yoga workshop today. The room will be heated to 95 degrees. I will drink lots of water and coconut water before hand because I will sweat buckets--I love it.

Mornin' Fabbies!

A beautiful day peeping through the fog here on the West Coast. The rain is gone and it looks like a great day to get out for a nice walk on some trail. I cannot believe how great I am feeling these days. The new medication I started in December is working so well, and being sober, eating healthy, working again, etc... is truly fantastic. I am a truly grateful and happy AFM.

Well, I have showered, and still need to get dressed and eat something. So, I am off. Have a great day everyone!

Oh, and I had an offer from a lady to take her 8 month old pure bred Pug as it doesn't get along with her Chihuahua. For free. So if that comes to fruition, I am going to name him Edward (Eddy). After my dad Tres cool! So we will see what happens with that.

still sick here but slept a tad better.

Greeneyes I love to hike too and getting lost hiking is so easy to do and can be dangerous in wintertime. even experienced hikers have died of hypothermia in weather as warm as the low 50's believe it or not.
please take one of those tiny reflective thermal blankets with you just in case. another thing is to wear a moisture-wicking base layer (T-shirt usually) and definitely not cotton. a common saying among hikers and guides now is 'cotton kills'.

can't wait til I'm well enough to go for a nice hike myself.
