I am still here, struggling a bit but hanging in there.
Appreciate the PM's I've been receiving.
John, good luck on your race.
Lav, congrats on that baby...jealous as always of your grandbabies.
I am back in New Mexico, substitute teaching, enjoying a new relationship with my husband. Unconditional love...30 years in June. Feel like I spent too much time complaining about this man.
Have been sober for a week. Hope you guys let me back on this thread, despite my lapses.
Guess Spring will be here soon. Remember last year, my dread of summer....didn't get enough of winter. Pap, you are the one who got smacked with snow.
I love u guys, Sped, Shell, Shelley
Good luck with your race John!
A safe and sober week everyone.

Morning Marchers!
Getting a super slow start here this morning - good thing John is the one in the race today :H:H
Chill, I've been married to a man for 37 years who has yet to hear a thing I say......
Rusty, it's so nice to hear about your Mom doing so well. I've missed my Mom for 25 years, she left a huge hole in my heart when she passed. Enjoy every minute you have with her.
I need to get some new Lily pictures to post, she's growing already!
Greetings Mario & Mr G!
G - what does one wear when one jumps out of an easter egg????
Not sure yet what I'm going to do with this Spring-like day but I'm sure I'll find somethingAF since 03/26/09
NF since 05/19/09
Success comes one day at a time

Thanks everyone for all the support!! I finished - unofficial time was 2 hours 7 minutes. A bit windy on the bridge but other than that a BEAUTIFUL day for a race. Getting ready for a HOT shower and then off to meet some friends for lunch.
You guys are all great - Hope you have a wonderful AF Sunday.
I am READY for my next race!

Well done John, the unofficial time sounds pretty impressive to me.
I hope everyone is doing ok, I had visitors last week which was quite a strain and then the damn blasted internet went funny but the sun is shining today and I'm back connected so things are good again in Sootyland.
Rusty your mum sounds amazing you must be so proud of her. My mum died 28 years ago and I still miss her. My husband and children didn't know her so the best thing about the visitors was that my uncle - my mum's brother - (he's 85 now) and I spent loads of time reminiscing. He was talking about their childhood and how hard things were and we relived family holidays, it was lovely and it was good for my girls to hear stories about their grandma!
I'm off to catch a bit of the nice weather before the sun goes down, have a good day everyone

Hi everyone
Quick check in from me. :goodjob: John, you did fantastic.
Sped - Welcome back, we missed you.
Sooty - That sounds great. One of my greatest regrets is that my girls never got to know their Grandma. She died very young, I was just 17 at the time.
Rusty - Enjoy the time you have with your Mom. Is'nt it great that Al is not coming between you anymore. What more could you ask for.
Everyone else enjoy the rest of the week-end.
