Marvelous Magnificant March - week 2

Hi Mema. A warm welcome to you and well done on 6 days!! I remember my first 6 days..what a BUZZ!! I thought I could never do that. It was the start of my very healthy lifestyle ( well...the food needs to be worked on still..)

Sunbeam- The things you take for granted such as water. My area had a serious flood a few years back and we were out of water for weeks. It was shocking how it made our lives so difficult.

Lav- Thats a great idea! I was thinking of donating to a charity but I may try and implement this into my business.

Marvelous Magnificant March - week 2

        Good Morning Friends:

Today I have to return to reality At the airport in Tampa right now getting ready to head home.

Star - Yes, the weather has been absolutely lovely here in FL the past several days, hasn't it? But, after the winter we've put up with, we do deserve a few days of sunshine and warmth!

Lav - What a great idea about donating part of your embroidery earnings to the Japan relief fund. Please let me know the details - I'd like to participate. And, I've seen pictures of your work so I know I'd be getting high quality stuff!

Rusty and others - I, too, had a wonderful relationship with my mother. She passed 5 years ago and it's still hard to believe that she' not here. She lived a good long life - 87 years old. Every now and then I'll say to myself, "I have to call Mom." She was a quiet woman who had so much strength and determination. Grew up on welfare during the depression and made it through. I actually attribute my success with tackling my issues with alcohol to her. She had such a steely determination to beat the cancer that finally took her life. I know that she is still here somewhere, guiding and inspiring me!

Sunbeam - I like to 'tinker' in the garden. It's another great way to spend time outdoors and I love it. Won't be long before we're fertilizing, planting and mulching. Yipee!

Well, folks, hoping everyone gets a good start to another week....

Marvelous Magnificant March - week 2

                Evening to all,

A quick check in for me tonight as I'm off to London early tomorrow back Friday so not sure if I'll be able to log in, I will have my laptop but it's a busy few days. I'm in bed with a 40 page briefing document for tomorrow, I guess I am firefighting quite a bit at the moment but this is ridiculous

Shelley I am 29 (okay 53) so still very young to have grandchildren

Hope everyone is well and still feeling Marvelous and Magnificent as we head into the second half of March.

                Dewdrop :h
Enjoy today - there will be no other one quite like it....

Yes! March stated on a Tuesday, so I guess that would make today the start of week 3. But we really prefer that our weeks start on Monday. Don't get me going on what "Next" week really means.

Florida! My husband and I will be heading there on March 28. We have been to that state numerous winters for a week or less, but we have never done Disney.

Paguy and others in the Northeast, it is optimal time to do heavy pruning of landscape shrubs. PM me if you want more information. There are excellent pruning videos at FineGardening.com.

OK, gotta to eat my oatmeal with blueberries and flax seed, my usual breakfast on work days. Can't eat the orange any more due to the acidity.
My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.
