KAS!! Kootenay lake is the lake my aunt lives on!! I'm pretty sure! Southeast BC? I'm pretty sure when I was there we took a large ferry to up a ways and over to the other side to this really neat artists colony.

Hi - new to this site! I have been in the newbies nest for almost a couple of months and have pretty much decided I want to be AF. I see some of my support system is over here, so I am dipping my toes in the water. I see this is a daily post, but it seems that I am one of the last to post as the sun seems to set here after it has been shining on everyone else, so this may not be the best place for me. I will give it a go and see...
DG has been a huge influence, so she may be one of the reasons that I am over here - she is definitely one of the reasons that I am slowly making a success of being AF. I am delighted that she is celebrating her 3 yrs!

Hey DET - you posted a picture of where I am living - well almost - I am between the sierras and the garlic - I can see the snow in the distance! Hope you had fun, and are not too stinky! Did you try a deep fried artichoke too? I love the Gilroy artichokes!
