The Paphut is safe!! When I got home last nite the door was flapping open even tho I KNOW I locked and closed it on Monday. It looks fine this morning, will take a peek inside before I leave to see if there was any leaking.

No damage at all in my immediate vicinity. Governor has declared a state of emergencyand all non essential personnel in the affected counties, including mine are to stay home. However, my city wasn't officially hit and I work in a non affected county so I will be going in, albeit slowly :H.

The pics and videos being sent in to local news are unbelievable. The 3rd largest city in MA has been devastated. The block where I used to work is destroyed. I'm so thankful it all missed my brother and his family who live 45 min to the northeast of where the 2 tornados hit and really really grateful my bro missed the one on the highway by a few seconds. All my friends in the affected areas are safe as far as I've heard-they are slowly checking in on FB.

Well better get moving. Don't want to be THAT late :H

I'm so happy you checked in. I knew you lived in the Western MA area so I was worried about you and even had visions of your beautiful camper being carried away! How far are you from Springfield/West Springfield? I grew up in RI and MA. We're used to hurricanes, but tornadoes?

Good morning Absters its so good to be reporting in from my own bed. Icame home early from the field to sort out the financial situation kitchuation.

P3 glad to hear you were given a hail Mary pass. We just never see this stuff except on the news. Cold snaps and winters with 25 feet of snow, yeah. And floods...we have. Please stay safe. it strikes me we can build dams and keep warm, but y'all cant do much about hurricanes and twisters except batten down.

I tried to resize these photos so they dont take up half the universe on this website. This was a study area in what we call the Columbia Trench, this side of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Must go to see my bank manager and do my invoices today.
One thing is for sure!!

M3 classes were good. I'm trying not to get overwhelmed but I like a lot to do. I will have to get organized this weekend def! The teacher in my math class leaves a little to be desired but hey no one is perfect right!
