P3, is a room mate out of the question? Not sure if you have a spare bedroom or if that could work. I had a couple of different room mates when I was single and living in Florida. I got night workers so we were on opposite shifts. They helped with modest rent and LOTS of house chores / dog sitting. Didn't have to be around them much with the opposite shifts.

Inchy, all I know is that whatever life questions you have right now, the answer is not in the bottle.

LOL Kaslo on the garbage. We have a garbage fairy at my house too. It's usually me. Parrot??? Birds are OK as long as they don't touch me.

Hello to anyone I have missed today!

Mr. Doggys' hive is thriving. There have been 3 swarms so far this year. I hope the swarms have found safe haven out there. (most likely not) The honey bee population really is at risk. A friend of ours had hives that all collapsed this year.

I need to quit goofing off and get in the shower. One thing is for sure...

Nah DG-no roommates for me. Been there, done that and now I'm too old and set in my ways. House is really small and I'm not sure I would EVER trust anyone to take care of my babies. I'll figure it out somehow. I always do. 3 zip Bruins end of 2.

thank you friends. about 30+ hours af now. sweaty crappy night but that's par for this course. I've been down this road so many times I can do it with my eyes shut. sigh. just finding out what happens further down the road is my quandry. I think I'm onto the answer and it's not what i expected. more to come when i can type faster than about 5 WPM. ugh!

Papmom, this economy sucks so bad, the housing crisis, the whole thing! My small biz got real small when the economy tanked & there is not much I can do to change things. That's one of the reasons I started selling on ebay ~ just to fluff my income a bit. I sat here a little while ago & talked with my daughter about sending Lily to college in 18 years. Do you think anyone will be able to afford tuition then?
We all need to hang in there & be as creative as hell with whatever $$ we have left
