Garlicky hugs ABeroooooooos from sea to shining sea,

back home and I'm pretty darn happy 'bout that. Welcome-home ceremony with my loverly Dx is now complete (details classified) and finishing up some garlicky gazpacho wine just can't be as yummy as this. and you can't put garlic in wine... so there!

Kas, have you tried DMSO on your hand? it works for not all, but some.

IJM, this is awesome: Robitussin and KC masterpiece BBQ sauce. hahahahahahaa!

Greeneyes, have you exorcised your washing machine? heal!

Bean, thanks for the note yesterday about how well PALEO/Primal eating is working for you. I'ts definitely 'my way' as well and it's sure good to feel healthy.

Bear, I think you'll feel better on those dietary changes your making...kudos!

gotta finish unpacking.... be well everyone

"Gone are the days when a pharmacist compounds drugs. It is all count, pour, lick, and stick. Also, it is near impossible to make a profit as an independent pharmacist due to managed care and all the chain competition?. But I won?t dwell on that."

I hear ya IJM. My brother is a pharmacist, has been for a long time. He'd like to get out, but none of his employees are interested in buying in. I kind of wished I had enough smarts to have done this before I was 29 of course. I am kind of looking into pharmacy tech, I would love to work in a compounding pharmacy. What you do for a living sounds way cool tho.

Kaslo-sure glad you got a new brace--I couldn't make heads nor tails of your first post!:H

Hope Mr DG is doing ok.

          Pharmacists......
Since my father-in-law was a pharmacist he pushed YB into pharmacy school. I thought it was a great idea - YB didn't agree. He did 1 1/2 years of a 5 years program & quit claiming he didn't want to work for his father. That was understandable but he wouldn't even consider eventually working elsewhere (hospital, research, etc). I have wondered so many times if he would have been a happier person if he had stayed in school but....

Had my Mi Mom hat on tonight - watched my two grandsons while my DIL went to her karate class. Oh boy, that was interesting carrying a 17 lb. almost 4 month old around while chasing EB :H :H
i will consider that my exercise effort for the day

Hoping Mr DG is OK tonight

Glad you got some help for your typing Kaslo :H

Hi all! Very quick check in after a long day. Mr. Doggy is fine again today. When this happened before, he saw not only the doc in the emergency room and also got a CT scan, but saw another doc the next day, who sent him to the hospital for a zillion tests, where he also saw a specialist. So he's been doctored. The ONLY thing that turned up was some small kidney stones. For lack of any better explanation, they thought he must have passed one then. The symptoms were exactly the same this time. Of course I wanted to take him back to the doc but he refused. If it happens again, I think he will go willingly.

            (gallbladder was ruled out)

Anyway....it's so wonderful to have you all here caring!!! And I know you will help me :b&d: if needed!

The vet sent a wonderful card for Buck. Of course everyone in the office signed it. But what made it special is that they put Buck's paw print in it. More :upset: for me and Mr. Doggy when we opened it.

I'm off to bed....one thing is for sure!
