    Hi guys,

    I'm feeling better today. Had a good meeting last night.

    Today is 90 days!

    Okay, I'll be back, checking in quick now
    Every day is a day to start over and remember that I am powerless over my addiction. I will no longer give the BEAST any power over me - he can go straight to hell.

      JACKRABBIT!!!

      Taking off early for a couple appts. & errands downtown. Tonight is "frist thursday". A monthly arts affair designed to revitalize main street. shops stay open late with artists wares on display, sometimes food and drink offered, Street performers... it's a cool vibe and a possibility for me if I feel like making a second trip downtown. That drive is sometimes the dealbreaker - but I might need a dose of the vibe for my mojo.

      I'm doing my part for the monarch population by sacraficing two parsley plants. I check the third one daily and transplant the buggars to the "decoys" that went to seed early.

        Hello friends,

        Congratulations UNI!!!! I think 90 days is a HUGE milestone. Keep up the great work and try not to worry about what your husband? does or doesn't do. If you can, have a talk with him and tell him how you feel. If he's like mine, that would make him REALLY uncomfortable and defensive--so just keep doing what makes YOU feel good for YOU. Some Men (sorry guys) can really be self indulgent at times. :l

        I feel kinda bad for mine--he has been working his butt off trying to keep the water in our basement out. What a mess! I really, really feel for those that have had flooding issues this summer way way way worse than this! Geez! We think the water must be coming from the big irrigation ditch above us. I small leak in that could do this. After we get through the initial crisis of keeping the water out, then we'll have to think about repairs and preventing mold.

        My in laws arrived back on Monday, and I think they will be here a few more days. I love them and like having them around, but it irritates me to watch them drink and smoke, drink and smoke.....then there's the meals and clean up. Oh, well.

        Thinking good thoughts for AFM today!!!! CANCER SUCKS!!! That is all.:h

          Uni, glad you are feeling better today on your 90 day AF Anni
          Congrats to you & keep your focus there, OK?

          Greenie, those caterpillars freaked me out until I finally realized what they were a few summers ago. They just look so alien, don't they? I have given them free reign to all of my parsely this summer.......I hope they have a ball

          LVT, sorry you are still dealing with a flooded basement! I have had that issue in other houses, it sucks. Sump pumps, French drains, the whole 9 yards. It is a labor intensive situation, I understand.
          I hope your in-laws give you a break

              well done Uni!
              Friend over for dinner tonight - we were going out for food but due to HUGE clothes/shoe shopping can't afford it anymore! Turkey chilli and potato wedges with a tonne of veg in chilli nd some kind of homemade salsa/guacamole combo.Need to buy fresh chilis and coriander.

              Feeling good AF - keep feeling very angry - think that is my pmt - cycled to work today - plan to hit gym tomorrow after work and have a sauna/steam/jacuzzi.I am eating bigger cooked breakfasts with protein in and feeling better for it - think i need slightly bigger lunch then i may well get somewhere.Off to SMART now!

                  Good evening folks?

                  Where are the regulars today - DG, Marshy, Kaslo, etc??

                  I played hookey this afternoon & took my daughter & Lily to the outlets in Lancaster County
                  Dodging horse poop the whole way up Rt 896 of course :H
                  Got myself three pairs of jeans, a sweater & a nice black shoulder bag :yay:
                  Had a tasty lunch at Ruby Tuesdays & a very nice time! Now I have to get caught up on some missed work but that's OK.
