    October Opportunities - Week Two

Good morning, I am so tired, I wish I could call off. Another beautiful day today.

Rusty, glad you took a mental health day, I need one. Traveling so much is exhausting, and then you immediately pick up and go somewhere else. Whew, I think a week's vacation is needed.

Turn, great to hear from you. Three months is awesome.

Hello to all, have a great day.

It must be Tired Tuesday! :H :H
Slept in a bit myself this morning & I'm still tired ~ typical for this time of the year for me

SD, glad to hear your work issue has been resolved. I'm just sayin but it sounds to me like your workmates seem to thrive on a lot of unecessary drama........why the hell is everything so difficult with them? Frankly, I'm more of a black & white person - I can't stand the BS but that's just me When there is a problem I want to go straight to the resolution & not waste my time in the gray areas!
I hope things settle down for you!!

Rusty, I am doing some research for you friend & will be in touch

Star, the full moon was covered with some clouds last night but it still affects us anyway.
Hope we both find our missing mojo today

Wishing everyone a great AF Tuesday!

        October Opportunities - Week Two

We must all be tired today ? me too! So it?s an early night for me and I am off to London on the early flight tomorrow back late Friday evening, I so hate being away from home on a Friday. I like to finish on time if not a little early so the weekend can start with me in a good mood, not sitting at Heathrow airport awaiting a flight and then getting home around 10pm :upset:

SD I am sorry to hear of your problems, life can be such a challenge at times, sending you lots of strength and hugs, take it easy and don?t take any of it personally. Rusty it?s lovely to hear from you and I am so glad that you are taking time out for you, you work so hard and I know how tiring all the travelling is on the body and mind so be good to yourself. I expect Chill will be settled in now and hopefully starting to enjoy her new house it?ll be good to have some of her things around her.

Big hi to everyone else, Lav, Star, Jolie, Rustop, P3 et al. Has anyone heard from Sooty recently?

Love to you all, Dewdrop :h
Enjoy today - there will be no other one quite like it....

          Nice to meet you, Dew!

Maybe it was the full moon...but I had much improved dreams last night. How's this for symbolism: I looked in the mirror and noticed that you could see the beginning of some muscle definition in my arms. Dream-self was so thrilled. Look at the strength that's been hiding!

Real self tried that this morning. If I squint I can pretend the lumps I see are muscles! I do like getting stronger in every way...every day...and someday...it will show!

            October Opportunities - Week Two

            Hi Guys
A hi from New Casa Chill, Im still in a guddle but at least I have internet.

I loved the dream chat, Turnagain your subconscious is telling you that you are getting stronger, how wonderful!

I had an odd one the other night, Id gone travelling with a couple of very unlikely companions and we were in a camper van somewhere in Japan! Anyway I had left Elle in some yoga centre in a US city where she was suposed to be taken care of. When I got back she'd gone! I rushed through the streets looking for her and found Wayne Dyer giving an open air talk on the banks of the river and there was Elle lying on her back on the grass listening to him, apparently she had been there every day since I left! I have no idea what that was all about?!

I still have lots of boxes which need unpacking but the bulk is done and I like it much better than the apartment. Its very quiet and I can take Elle out for her last wee in my pajamas

I feel like im entering the next chapter on my life which represents the next 6 months, the duration of my lease. Here at the beginning, I can at least relax for a few months without having to make any decisions about my next move, and its a very good feeling! I know I dont want to stay in Scotland permanantly but Im here for now and lets just see what comes up in this next instalment.....

              October Opportunities - Week Two

              Hey all,

I'm tired too! What's up with this - is it the change of the seasons? Work is crazy right now - short-handed and 2 of us are doing the work of 3. Anywho, hoping for a little excursion with some girlfriends into PA on Saturday. Hubby is in full on hunting mode and we have the same discussion every year - Fall is my favorite time of year and I like to take advantage of the colors and changing temps and do some traveling. His respone - "let me check my hunting schedule". Arghhhhhh - so I'm doing it with the girls!

Chill - your dream was very strange until you got to the end and I could just picture Elle lying on her back listening to this person - that's when I laughed out loud! Glad you are getting settled in.

Turn - you are right - someday it will show and I bet if you look very closely, it's already showing. Being AF gives me a sense of power and self-confidence.

Dew - I don't travel a whole lot but I have friends that do for work and they say it gets old real quick. Hope you don't have a long wait at the airport and you get home to enjoy a wonderful weekend!

Lav - your advice on another thread about Lancaster has been duly noted. I usually don't buy anything from the Amish except for spices, apple cider donuts, and fruit! Just looking for some nice scenery with good friends.

Hi Star, Rusty, SD - hope you are all having a great evening.

Waiting for the rain to come in tonight - don't think it's leaving until Friday - as long as the weekend is nice I don't care!

              Night all

Dew, I hope your trip gets you home early enough to have a full weekend

Chill, glad you are settling in your new digs
The thought of moving every 6 months freaks me out I hope you enjoy your new place & feel at home!

Jolie, I don't mean to take business away from the Amish merchants but food safety is a big deal for me. In the past I've sold eggs to an Amish farmer nearby - he was reselling them to his customers as 'Amish eggs'. I was just worried about the tiny propane fired fridge in his 'deli' not keeping the eggs cool enough. I am not currently selling him eggs
I hope you have a lot of fun this weekend. Stop in the Rockvale outlets at 896 & 30 - my favorite place to shop

Finished up the work I wanted to finish today - yay!
Tomorrow I start on another project that has been waiting too long. The weather will keep me in my shop so I'll have no excuses :H

                  October Opportunities - Week Two

Hey all-finally got a few minutes to post and catch up with everyone.
Dew-glad you're feeling somewhat better-take care during your business trip that you don't relapse with the cold. I do hope you can find some other line of work that more closely matches your interest in serenity, peace and minimal stressful living and doesn't involve travel.

Chill-hooray! you're moved in! I'm sorry it's only for 6 months. It sounds like such a sweet little place and neighborhood. I love how you are open to anything tho! your dream was wild!

Jolie-how fun that you're touring Lancaster county! It's on my list of places to see.

Had a nice time at the family brunch at the bride's mom's house yesterday morning-got to say a proper goodbye to everyone and see some of the pics taken by the "photographer" (a friend agreed to take the official pics and did a fab job!!). Got home around 3:30 - not quite 4 hours.
Took a short nap and then went to work at the NH. Why I didn't take last nite off i'll never know. I could have taken my time coming home. Oh well.

This morning I took the cabinet doors off in the RV-not sure I'll get to painting them this week but the hard part is done. then I totally dismantled the office until it was an empty room. Yep the same room I painstakinly redid this past spring!! I'm going to prep the walls tomorrow (remove the border and spackle the holes) and then I'm going to move the bedroom furniture in to make sure it fits and I like it before I actually start painting. That all starts after my first PT session at 7am tomorrow for my hip.

After lunch my friend came over with 2 pots of ornamental grass she dug up for me. More to come. Then we (by we I mean I) dug up most of my grasses for her and some for me to move to the back yard which I did while she lounged in the zero gravity chair with an ice cold water. I tell ya, sometimes I just don't get why we are friends!!

After a welcome shower I headed to quilt class and made some good progress on the table runner and a dent in my budget with 2 new tools. I really hope that one week I can just pay for class!! :H

Time for bed and "Smokin' Seventeen" and some tea. See you all tomorrow!!

                    Good morning everyone

Quick check in from me. The computer is still giving me trouble. Will probably have to get a new one.

Chill - hope you will be very happy in your new home. It must be the time of year, lots of strange dreams here too.

Lav - Is there a full moon?

Dew - My hubby travels nearly every week and it is a complete pain. Hope you get something sorted on the job front that is less stressful.

Jolie - Enjoy your trip. I tend to do that with my hubbie too. He hates weddings so I just bring one of the girls in his place.

SD - Glad you got things sorted, your job sounds soooo stressful.

Papmom - whew you made me tired just reading about all you did.

Nothing too exciting happening here. Still playing catch up after the summer.

Happy hump day to one and all.

                      Yay, it is hump day.

Papmom, wow, you are one busy person, really getting things done. I love the way you are rearranging your environment inside and out!

Lav, the full moon was beautiful last night on my drive home, with smudges of clouds over it at times. What a beautiful time of year.

SD, schools and school staff have so much to take care of it is a really hard place to work right now. A friend of mine, a teacher, is so stressed right now, and she teaches elementary kids. She says they are testing them every week, isn't that ridiculous? I loved the way you fearlessly talked with your supervisor, you can do everything better AF.

Chill, so glad you are settling into your new home. Where do you think you might want to live in the future? I liked your dream, it sounded like Elle was doing yoga!

Jolie, just do your own thing. I do. My husband and I often have different ideas of how to spend our free time, so we do what we want, then get together later for dinner.

Dew, wish you had a good book to escape to while waiting at the airport. Suggestions anyone?

I have a busy day ahead of me, and this is supposed to be the last warm day for a while, maybe till next year? I am enjoying every nice day, the leaves hear continue to be spectacular.

To all, greetings and have a great day.

                          October Opportunities - Week Two

Woohoo guys, quick hello from London ? well a hotel at the airport to be honest and the meeting is here for the 3 days so not very exciting and the room we were in today had no windows :boohoo: I?m tucked up in bed reading up for tomorrow with a cuppa and my kindle and the kindle is winning over the prep for tomorrow! Why are big hotels so soulless and impersonal, some of my colleagues are in the bar socialising but I just didn?t feel like it tonight. I brought my gym stuff but couldn't be bothered going there either. I?m still suffering with my sinuses from my cold last week and had a real bad headache after the flight this morning. I made sure I drank lots of water today and a soak in the bath and another early night is on the cards ? I?m seriously becoming very boring these days!!

I'm off up north on Sunday hillwalking and really looking forward to it, something to look forward to after being stuck in this dungeon most of the week. Thank goodness hump day is nearly over and I'm another day nearer the weekend

I can't see the moon from my window but sure as heck can hear the airplanes overhead.

                              Good Late Evening (once again)!

Dew--I've never heard of a hotel that doesn't have windows looking out onto something...like a courtyard, pool area, the middle/center lobby area...something, if not the outside. I wouldn't like that either. Can they move you to a different room? Well, for tonight..try to get a good nights rest!:l

Lav-- I love your carefree attitude...I'll take a dose of that please!!! I'm a teansie bit high strung lately!:H

Star--I'm really glad I talked to my principal and Super. I really feel like this week has been better as far working (adult) relationships....either that or I have been too busy to notice otherwise!! LOL!!

Rustop--Computer trouble is the worst!! When I needed a new one I got an Apple and LOVE IT!! I'd never had an Apple before and don't think I'd ever go back to anything else...so user friendly!! And I'm very computer NOT friendly!!

Pap3--You were talking about your projects you are doing...I hate to even admit this....you remember the room I started painting this summer....it's still only half done...I never did finish it!!! Every time I walk by it I feel just rotten....but I hate painting so bad and I just don't think I like the way it looks...and it's the 3rd color I've tried in that room!!! I REALLY need to finish that project!! Good for you for being soooo motivated!!!

Jolie--what kind of hunting does your hubby do?? It's opening pheasant (I think) this weekend here!! Big shopping deals for the women!!

Chill--I really like your attitude about seeing how the next 6 months plays out....thats kinda how I'm looking at the next 6 months as well. I think it's the only way I'm going to get through this school year! The possibilities of whats to come....

Well ladies....and G...I'm off to bed....hoping everyone has a fantastic Thursday!!! To anyone I missed....A BIG HELLO!!!!!

Well no sign of any full moon here, I don't think I've even seen a star in months! It's always cloudy skies here :upset: anyway seeing it or not, I definitely felt it's effects last night and felt particularly blah. I'm was sitting surrounded by mess that needed sorting out and a huge pile of ironing as I never got to my usual chores last weekend, and I was just too damn tired to tackle any of it. This then frustrated me and that anoying little voice started to nag away at me. Anyway I turned the volume way down to zero and told Vimm it could all wait till I felt like doing it!

We have dark cold mornings now and I struggle to get up to go to the gym, plus its now further away and it's really too far to go before work. At night I'm so tired after work and just want to get home to Elle. This pattern would be fine but I crave my exercise too and can't seem to find a solution. I guess this is also making me feel blah.... Papmom I need some of your energy!
