Good evening all - not much energy to write tonight - I actually took notes as I read through things this morning, I'll have to use those when I can write more.
Chill - your pathway sounds so right, good for you for moving forward. RE: furniture, you may remember that I sold much of our furniture before we came east, knowing that we could not use much of it. Some things were easy, some things were difficult (my beloved dining room table that had hosted so many happy moments), and I didn't get anything in the galaxy close to what I had paid for things. But in the end, it really is all just stuff, and can really weigh you down. Being out east where there are so many antique shops, I see that furniture was meant to be passed on to others - I actually 'visited' my dining room table at the neighbor's house who purchased it - it looked fabulous there (it had traded up in surroundings), and I realized that it was meant to be. Go ahead - let them go - more pieces await you in the future --
Star - I'm concerned about you -- it seems like you have been down for a while, I hope you are OK.
PMom - the Oil of Oregano that I like is made by Gaia - if you have a Whole Foods around, they carry it. At any rate, take the pill form, not the oil directly (nasty) and always with food, as it is very strong. Just 1 pill a day, when you feel like something's coming on. 2 if you're really sliding. I also like a combo of Echinacea and Goldenseal (anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties). Again, don't take as a regular thing, just if you are feeling 'off'. I think the Elderflower stuff maybe can be taken more regularly, not sure... Good luck, you just need to get a leg up on all of this. Hope you feel better soon.
Dill - I saw 'Buddha's Brain' at a bookstore in Minneapolis in December, and almost bought it. It looked really interesting, relating how meditation literally changes the physical matter of the brain -almost like it 'calms' it down. It will be a great companion for the 'Insight' book that I'm reading (all 2 paragraphs that I get in before the book falls out of my hands).
Will write more tomorrow, just feel so leaden today...take care all...
