Magical March Marchers - Week 4

      Good morning Marching friends!

Can't believe it is almost April - I don't care what we call the thread next month ~ it's Apil

Star, my MAJOR & CHRONIC source of negativity decided to pick up & run out of here 2 years ago! I have come to the realization that he just cannot stand seeing someone being happy & healthy!!!!!!!
He has absolutely no understanding of the concept. Sounds sick, I know & it is but that's the truth.

Dill, so happy you are soon on your way to NO

papmom, fingers crossed for you & your new ride

I'm off to Curves, them back home to babysit this afternoon - oh boy

Have a terrific AF Hump Day everyone!

Magical March Marchers - Week 4

Love the April Flock theme...and we're almost there! :goodjob:

Sunni-I LOVE all the flowers you mentioned...espcially hollyhocks...they are so dear to me. So old-fashioned and cottage garden like. I wish you the best in all of your planting! Do post pics later this year when they are blooming!

Dill, thanks for commenting on my post about my 30 days and all the positive changes I have seen...it just keeps getting better, it really does. But I know I am preaching to the choir here, so to speak!

Well, here I am on my day off, YAY! Was a long week and a rough day at work yesterday. I was just plain old tired and if I asked another customer if they wanted paper or plastic only to hear that they left their bags in the car as usual, I was going to scream. Maybe PMS a bit too but good lordy, would it take any effort to get your butt out to your car parked right outside to save a bag? Or just don't even mention that you have a bag and answer my question! Thanks for letting me vent...:H:thanks:

Have a great super duper Wednesday to everyone checking in: Rollcall: LBH, Rustop, Rusty, SD, Sped, Papmom3, Chill, Cyn, Jolie, FlyAway, Turn, Dill, Lav, Sunhine, Raven, Daisy, LibraryGirl, Shue,TDN, Star, Det, Kaslo, Sooty, AlmostFamous et all (sorry if I missed anyone!)

        Peace!

Magical March Marchers - Week 4

          Hi everyone

Happy hump day. Love the name April AF Flock, ties right in with Dill's story.

Star - "Great discoveries have been made by persons who kept trying after their initial efforts failed. They proved failure can be turned into success by just one more try. No matter how difficult a problem may appear, I do not become discouraged. I am confident and persistent." Thank you so much for this. I became very discouraged when I did not master being completely AF from my first try. Joining this thread is what has kept me anchored and kept me trying so thanks to all of you.

Sunni - loved the picture of the barn, lots of colour in my garden at the moment. We are having a wonderful sunny spell and the daffodils, camillia's etc. are in full bloom.

Lav - Hope YB is ok. Bet he is missing having his own personal nursie on duty :H

Have had a very busy few days. We were at a High Achievers Awards cermony yesterday evening in the University. It was like a mini graduation. All the students from the different faculties who achieved high points/scholarships in their final exams last year were awarded certificates. Daughter picked up two and it was great to see her up there in her gown. Then this morning my other daughter sat her driving test and passed first time. She has only been driving 6 months so is delighted with herself. Have a pub quiz for the school tonight so it is all go.

Magical March Marchers - Week 4

Hello marchers, my visitors have gone and things are back to normal now.

Fantastic weather here at the moment which is bringing all the drinkers outside the pubs in the village, this hasn't been a trigger for me as I never went there but at 3 pm today while I was walking the dog there were at least 20 people who were still there an hour later when I came back after the walk. Goodness knows how many of them were driving, scary thought!

I'd forgotten how tiring it is having folk to stay, I will be glad to go to bed early tonight and hopefully lie in tomorrow

Lav I missed your anniversary, many many congratulations mother goose.

I love the name April AF flock and thanks for the picture Dill.

Big hello to Rusty, LBH, Papmom, Rustop, Star, Sunni, Blonde, Chill, Cyn, Lav, Jolie, Sped and to all i have missed my heartfelt apologies,
scrolling back on this iPad is hard and I'm hopeless at remembering names

Zumba in the morning if my bad knee holds up, I'll check in after that. Take care everyone

Magical March Marchers - Week 4

              Greetings magical marchers!

Whooohooo! Peanut (grandson) has a spot in daycare!!! That's after almost 2 years on a waiting list. So, now, my daughter can finally (hopefully) get a job and get her life started! This is such great news

Rustop... no colour here yet :upset: My crocussssses (or whatever the plural) peeked out last week but I think they've been scared right back (turtle style) by the current cold spell. Sigh. I was getting all ready to go on the gardening front.

Dill, I'm loving the April Flock! But, much like Lav... never mind names, just get April here! :H

Blondie.. oh my  That's me... leaving the bags in the car. Or in the wrong car. But I do often run out to get them. Phew, nice save. :H

Star, I wish I had an answer to your question. I do a rotten job with not getting caught up in negativity around me. But I'm curious how everyone else is making out in that department.

Ok, I'm gonna start a fire. That's enough of that... I can barely feel my toes anymore. Of course, that could have something to do with the way I'm pretzled up in my chair so the darling cat can sleep comfortably

Tally-ho and happy Hump Day to all!

Edited to ask: Papmom! Any news on the new wheels???
Okay, WHO put a stop payment on my reality check?

              Winning since October 24th, 2013

                Hiya all!

Dill, i had a chuckle over your suggestion 'Honk if you're AF'. I reckon that would make a great car bumper sticker!

Hope everyone's happy, healthy, safe and sound, and geared up for an adventurous and aspirational arse kickin' April.

Best wishes to your bro Lav.

Papmom--Your doggie is so sweet! And I love that Mother Goose picture too. Absolutely beautiful.

Blonde--I don't think my husband learned anything from his hangover. He was drinking again yesterday.

Lav--Sounds like you made out like a bandit at the outlets! I've never been to Lancaster. I've been telling my husband that I want to go one of these days. Are the outlets decent there? I am hoping that YB's knee heals quickly.

Dill--I've got a week off coming up too. I know you'll have a great time with your grand baby!

Star--I am so with you on moods being contagious! There are a couple really negative people where I work and I feel myself picking up their mood when I'm around them. I try to avoid them at all costs. I love what you shared about persistence.

Rustop--You must be very proud of your daughters!

Sooty--I agree, having company is tiring. Healthy knee vibes to you! :H

Sunshine--Crocussssses? :H I do pretty well with staying positive.

Guitarista--My sister is quite religious. One of her church friends drove up behind a car that had a bumpersticker that read "Honk if you love Jesus." This person honked his horn and the driver of the car with the bumpersticker rolled down his window and gave him the finger!

                    SD--Love Arse Kicking April!

Magical March Marchers - Week 4

                      Happy hump day all!

Fly - I'm still laughing - funny story. Wonder if the driver ever realized why he was being honked at :H

Star - your words are just so inspirational to me - just how I'm feeling - I truly believe that persistence is the key - it make take us several tries but if we get just a little bit stronger and learn from our mistakes, each try brings us closer to success!

Lav - I love Lancaster outlets! I do try to go on a weekday though as I've found the weekends are crazy up there! It's also a good idea to pick a nice day since you are in and out of the stores so much.

Hiya to Sped, Mr. G, Blondie, Papmom, Sooty, Chill, Rustop, Sunni, Dill, LBH, Rusty, so sorry if I missed anyone but thinking of all of you tonight and glad that everyone sounds so positive!

4 minutes until Modern Family so I'm signing off but will check back in tomorrow!

Magical March Marchers - Week 4

                        Ahhhhhh,
The boys have gone home - all of them :H

Changing diapers on one, potty training the other is busy work but I can handle it. What I can't handle is the grumpy old man who decided to grace us with his presence for dinner - WTF? If you feel that miserable then just stay away from people, am I right?
YB saw the doc, was told he is probably OK but if not he can go have an MRI next week ~ whatever.
Sometimes I get more pleasure from cleaning my coffee maker than a visit from YB :H

Blondie, customers, clients, patients.....they can all be irritating. Just a part of life I guess

Rustop, congrats to both of your girls. They sound like they are real high achievers!

sooty - how's the sober bus? Is is ready for a Spring Fling????
Glad you are enjoying some decent weather there.

Sunni, I lmost hate to tell yuo my tulips are Blooming!!!! They are an early variety but geez!

FlyAway, get yourself to my house then I'll take you to the outlets!
Rockvale Outlets Lancaster Home Page - Bigger Bargins, Better Brands, Always Rockvale Outlets
It's only 45 min from here!!!

Jolie, if FlyAway meets me here & you meet me here we can have a field trip to the outlets!!!!! Yay!

Hi there G! I think we are kicking some pretty good arse here

A perfect stranger (dirty old man type) almost got his butt kicked by me in the supermarket this morning!!!! Honestly, he nearly ran me over with his cart (in the store) then bellows, out loud 'Women Drivers'!!! I kept walking then thought no, you bastard, you don't get away with that. So I looked over my shoulder & said to him 'You're kidding, right?' He replies loudly 'NO, I'm not kidding'. That's when I told him 'You're an IDIOT' :H

Guess I'm not in the mood for DOM!!!!

                        Have a great night y'all!

Magical March Marchers - Week 4

                          Good morning...

Lav, you are so funny, you better be careful, that guy sounded crazy! I am sure if your husband was with you, that idiot would have kept his mouth shut. Such guys are bullies to women, but cowards when it comes to men.

Work today and then my weekend starts, I am so happy I have a four day work week! To all, have a great Thursday.

Heavens, Lav, those rude old fools better be on the lookout, no messing with you girlfriend. Dill, you were/are very funny with your “honking”, thank you also for what looks to be shaping up as our “flock” name for April. And Sunni, I look forward to hearing about your sun garden, I have done the same myself on a little inner city lot with a small house beneath very tall pines. I have a ten foot wide sun border along the south picket fence in front and it is packed with roses, all sorts of daylilies, iris, Echinaceas in a variety of colors, hollyhocks etc. as well many spring bulbs, larkspur, and later annuals. Off to exercise now after yet another night largely consisting of insomnia (I think this makes four). I have ended up shuffling off somewhere around two to the guest room to get away from the snoring Lord Bird Heart whom I am likely to murder in my weakened condition. At least I am not additionally hammered by the effects of alcohol withdrawal so no pounding heart, and I did have enough time on my hands to figure out how to finally catch a bit of pee from my skittish four pound dog, and I am going to drop the "sample" off at the vet on the way to the gym as the doggie has been leaking all over the place since her bladder surgery (before that she had no symptoms at all). You can only imagine me crawling in the pitch dark yard, half asleep tiny dog on a little string in one hand, teeny glass spice bowl in the other…. Don’t try that with a hangover Hello Star and all to come to visit today. Love, Ladybird.
                            may we be well

                              Good morning friends!

LBH, collecting specimens was always my least favorite job :H
You were actually very lucky you know :H
I still have runs of insomnia although not as severe. Grateful the only snoring I hear these days is from my Piggy Swiisy Maxie & it's easy to stop her. I find the moon can be very bothersome at times The blinking lighted LED things in my room are also annoying. I've been known to thrown a towel over the clock & a sock over the security keypad on the wall. Thank God for late night World News & the internet is all I can say

Star, I woke up today thinking about that rude SOB at the supermarket. He's lucky I didn't choose to respond physically to his assault - I had just left Curves & was feeling pretty revved up :H

Awaiting a visit from my daughter & Ms Lily today. They are dropping off their Corgi for the week. He is tons of crazy fun!!!!

                              Have a great Thursday!

LBH, I am envisioning an enchanted cottage garden by what you so beautifully described! Can't wait to get out and garden myself but we are back to our seasonal weather in New England right now. This time last week was in the 80's...crazy! Today, chilly and rainy. But that's OK...I got plenty to do inside!

Lav, good for you for sticking up for yourself in the market. What an ass. Maybe he was drunk to boot!

Well, gotta get my arse in gear as they say. Hope you all have a grand day!
