We had gorgeous weather here all weekend and yesterday we were out in it all day. It was breezy and balmy and just wonderful. My husband made a delish barbeque and we invited friends over and just had a great time sitting around all afternoon and talking and telling jokes. I am so happy to be a non-drinker!

Its wonderful how we can make these connections all the way around the world, and might never had known of each other if we had not decided we needed to shape up and forget about AL.

Just a brief check in for me to wish my wonderful friend Lav a happy 3 year anniversary! I can't wait to get to Greenie's party room and watch Kaslo's fireworks and smell the orchids and eat cake!!!

I love you my friend, and would love to meet you in person someday. It has been a pleasure being on this journey with you.:l

I have a plan for my front yard makeover and I can't wait to get started. But, I have to clean house, finish bookwork and ......first!

The weather folks should have posted high winds warning here as well. I just came home from lunch with my Curves buddies & found my large, heavy deck table umbrella on the floor of the deck wedged between the table & the grill - geez!!! I'm leaving it right where it is until I get some lifting help

Sunni, house guests should not leave 'gifts' on the carpet!!!!!!
I have to admit that the Insanity Twins have never done that & later this week my daughter is dropping off her Corgi, Willie who also has great control I love watching Willie, he's small but faster than a speeding bullet :H
An egg hunt sounds like a good idea but I think I'll wait another year before I do all that for the kids

Oh I'm a bit out of sorts today, all this job hunting is getting me down, I'm swimming in regrets of the past and finding it hard to jump out of it:no:

I know it will pass, I think its that the more I'm coming back to my true self, the more shocked I am at my drunkin days I'm kinda sad for myself, now that sounds like self pity to me, a luxury I can't afford, so any advise for jumping out of this would be appreciated, I want me beans back

What lovely tributes to our own dear and deserving Lovely Lavande! I've been following her all over this site and through sobriety like a little puppy. How lucky we are to have you for a friend and inspiration!

This place is buzzing with great energy as always...I'm just full of Lav-anitude for all the goodness that comes from surviving alcohol addiction and learning how thrive with the help of some many kindred spirits.
