Morning Fabbers

I had full intention of reading back and posting over the weekend and then poof...look it is tuesday and I still haven't..where the fleck does the time go LOL. All good this side of the world and equator. 3 more days of work until the long easter weekend. Kids finish school on thursday for two weeks. AF time is steaming ahead, however I am still trying to get around the AL thoughts. No thoughts of actually drinking AL, just thinking about AL.

Shue - Cudos for posting and for accountablity..as your signature says, it was a little wobble, not a complete crash. We live and learn and move on and are stronger for it. :l

Afamous, not a chef, just a serious hobby gourmand. I like to eat good food (both healthy and tasty) but don't like to go out to eat as I'm always so disappointed, so I learned to cook.

house smells marvelous at the moment. making my version of a beef paprikash with garlic mashed turnips. can't wait!

Mum2, crazy thoughts will indeed come. so long as the other door at the back of the brain is open, so they can leave too

Mum, the new pup is a Beagle mix (don't know what else). I'll be getting her from a puppy rescue nearby. The foster 'Mom' named her Matilda. She has a brother named Maxwell but I can't take him too so hopefully someone will soon

Kas...I'm so glad I took a peak at the rest of the entries from yesterday's thread (I always make this a habit so I don't miss anything, even if I didn't get a chance to post in the evening...was so sick with a cold last night!). Anway, the 70 year old hooters were certainly a HOOT! TOO FUNNY! Made me laugh out loud...lol.

Hi Gang..

A few of you had questions on the ginger beer. I think it is very similar to ginger ale but a bit more real ginger taste. It's fizzy like gingerale and a similar color. Goslings is actually a rum company in Bermuda and they have a drink called the Dark and Stormy, which is made with this non alchoholic ginger "beer" and their rum. Now, of course I am not using the rum but you can buy their ginger beer in the supermarket where you can by other sodas, like coke, etc. It comes in a sillver can with a black seal on it. We get it in a six pack can and I usually have one when I get home from work as a nice refreshing drink after the gym. If you can find it, I would recommend it! The kind I get is the diet version, but it doesn't taste like nasty diet soda or anything...you don't miss the sugar. Good luck!
