Weekly AA Thread - Apr. 9 - Apr. 15

Last night's discussion was on resentment. Again. We discuss this topic alot. I think that resentment is part of the human condition, but for us alcoholics, it's our "#1 enemy" as the BB would put it.

Our Sun. night meeting is a BB read & discussion in which we read the entire BB. I like that the stories give us a springboard for discussion. Regardless of how different they might seem from my own story, they always resonate. The stories in the back of "not so low-down bottoms" are particularly relevant to me.

Everyone enjoy the Spring weather.

Hey everyone......sore wrist so not typing too much today....carpal tunnel? Not sure, but will have it checked out if it doesn't get better.

Mary, resentment is a big one for me........a couple of things in my past I think I have let go but they rear their ugly head periodically.

I'm meeting two women for coffee and a meeting Tuesday, and am looking forward to that.

DG, I think it's wonderful how you're getting involved in the prevention side of things. Wouldn't it be great to save people from this or some other addiction? One of the women I'm meeting Tuesday is in grad school and studying addiction counseling. I know you're working on that degree also, right? Fantasic and I bet it will be rewarding.
