Hey Paul,
Know what you mean about Valentine's Day. I am the same, and so is my partner (and the one before that).
Drives me crazy when people say "What did Paul get you for Valentine's Day" (Paul being my boyfriend's name... obviously I have taste!) and I say, "Nothing."
They look at me in a sympathetic manner, and I simply can't be bothered going into my usual diatribe that I really feel it is really more romantic when my boyfriend does something Just Because.
