Mick, I took that picture from the driver's seat of my Chevy Cruze yesterday. That road is very hilly so that's why it looked like I was sitting up high. Are you going out tomorrow morning to buy my Christmas gift?

I agree Kuya & Molly, moderation is just not in the cards for the majority of us. At this point I really have no desire to ever try to drink again. I have lived just fine for nearly 4 years without a drop of AL. There would be no point in bringing that beast bck into my life

I have a funny story for you today. While I was waiting for a friend at the concert last night (Barenaked Ladies with the Symphony) I was talking to an older woman. We were having an interesting talk about her Parkinsons and how people deal with illness in general (we get so wrapped up in our suffering that we miss out on moments in life). Anyhoo, she told me she had gotten a ride from a friend in a car with 'one of those seat warmers'..... She paused and said 'I know what my Mom would have called it'. I thought about it and said 'sitting in the hot seat'... she paused again and finally, this sweet Lady with her shaking hands and cane said, 'No, she'd call it a PUSSY WARMER'. Can you beleive it? I just about fell off the chair in the lobby.

So today I hope everyone has a chance to sit back and think about something other than our struggles today, even if it's just for 5 minutes.
