pleasantly sore from yesterdays exercises. I think I'll keep this up by jove!
I'm so pleasantly surprised by Dr Oz once again. a lady on his show was saying how she buys only the white, lean meats like chicken breast and avoids red meats for 'health' reasons. Dr Oz quickly corrected her and told her there is no scientific or medical validity to this misconception. wow! apparently Oz doesn't live in the mainstream haze. he also advised her away from low-fat and non fat dairy since when you take out the fats you are left with essentially a high-sugar low-nutrient processed food. once again right on the mark.
I'm off to make a frittata with farm fresh local eggs, asaparagus and orange peppers. weeee!

Thanks guys for understanding. I don't care to go into details. I'll just be posting less.
Det....I am going to have to start DVRing Dr. Oz. I read one of his books about how the body works....and it is an amazing machine. I am still losing weight with the 4 Hour Body....but, honestly he made it so incredibly simple. I have added fats back into my diet....not a huge amount.....but, they make you full and satisfied for hours. Eat a Lean Cusine for lunch you are sure to starving by 2pm. I eat eggs for breakfast.....the same lunch at my new resturant that caters to the paleo (BTW...really cheap).....and I am still full by the time I get home. So I eat the allowed foods for dinner that my hubby makes....and just skip the high carbs.
Before on any diet I made it all too complicated. Simple is good for me And the results....just keep you going.

yes indeed. simple and sustainable works for me too
i drive the checkout folks crazy at the supermarkets since almost all the food I get is in bags that need to be weighed etc. The cardboard boxes with 'pictures of food' on them are of course much easier for them. what can I say, I'm just a tasty troublemaker.
Porquoi, dinner sounds fab!
Lav, having the odd 'veg-out' night is I believe totally healthy. we can't be in 'go' mode all the darn time.

Still keeping it simple. Veggie was raw carrots & cucumbers, no energy for anything more involved. Will get that back at some point, right!
