    Reaching my dreams!!!!

I am so happy to see you, too! I totally understand the vice your head is in at the moment. My heart is bleeding for you. All I can say is that I was so glad I was able to keep sober during my dad's ordeal. I had to keep it together....I hope you will find the same strength. I wish I could take away his pain and yours, too. But all I can do is wish you both courage and strength. Love you, B

      Reaching my dreams!!!!

Hello Mick, Nurdl and Byrdie. Wine out!!!!! Thanks for the encouragement.
Byrdie, you are a wee trooper, still popping in with all you have been through....
Today has been a rollercoaster. Dad was so bad and still exhausted and out of it. We discussed whether to go ahead but he is adamant. We leave at 7am for 2 more appointments in 2 different hospitals tomorrow; these are necessary to be able to get the treatment next week. I worried he wouldn't be able for it, then, around 4pm he had tea and a sandwich and all of a sudden brightened up and looked so much better - can't believe the turnaround!
It seems if he is happy then we are relieved and when his health declines we sink into despair; it is only through this happening to us that I now realise what so many families have been through........
      thanks again everybody.
