Its a gorgeous sunny warm morning and we expect it to not be too hot (sorry Blondie) or too freezing (eat your hearts out Northern abbers!)
I have to keep this short as work awaits. Feeling really sad as an old friend (who lived overseas and I have not seen for a while) died yesterday aged only 71 - after a month of being diagnosed with stomach cancer. AL not the issue here. He was a lovely humble kind bloke. We kind of worked in the same areas as well.
My walk with daughter was terrific yesterday - but I must watch my ankle today. I am thrilled that she seems to have inherited my hiking and curiosity 'gene' - so won't worry myself about those other so-called 'genes' we all share here ( the jury is out for a long time - over whether or not our addiction can be attributed to genes).
Running Courage - bugger that your walk had to be tainted by the AL drivel. Thats the advantage of walking with my daughter - no AL war stories.
Lavande - my neighbours have hens as well. Thats OK - they are far away - sometime they stroll (hens not neighbours) into our bush filled garden and get lost - the hens confuse our cat!
SF - you do what you must but I think the feeling is - you are always welcome and there are no 'rules'. (there is a game called this - but I don't understand it).
Blondie - ocean is cold here - but it varies around the coastline. I am in the south of NZ , Kuya is in the north. I avoid the ocean here - too many rips and sharks!
Really must away - had to have coffee and tea by myself (with crumpets and vegemite) but am sure Mick will put the brew on for everyone else.
Cheerio all!
