WHY CHOCOLATE IS BETTER THAN SEX :H:H

    1) You can GET chocolate.
    2) ?If you love me you?ll swallow that? has real meaning with chocolate.
    3) Chocolate satisfies even when it has gone soft.
    4) You can safely have chocolate while you are driving.
    5) You can make chocolate last as long as you want it to.
    6) You can have chocolate even in front of your mother.
    7) If you bite the nuts too hard the chocolate won?t mind.
    8) Two people of the same s*x can have chocolate without being called nasty names.
    9) The word ?commitment? doesn?t scare off chocolate.
    10) You can have chocolate on top of your workbench/desk during working hours without upsetting your co-workers.
    11) You can ask a stranger for chocolate without getting your face slapped.
    12) You don?t get hairs in your mouth with chocolate.
    13) With chocolate there?s no need to fake it.
    14) Chocolate doesn?t make you pregnant.
    15) You can have chocolate at any time of the month.
    16) Good chocolate is easy to find.
    17) You can have as many kinds of chocolate as you can handle.
    18) You are never too young or too old for chocolate.
    19) When you have great chocolate it doesn?t keep your neighbors awake.
    20) With chocolate size doesn?t matter. It?s ALL good!

Haha - just thought of another one
You can get 'fair trade' chocolate
You can over indulge in chocolate in the privacy of your own room but it won't make you blind.

            Good Sunday morning Abbers!

Snow covered & quite cold here in Lav-land!
Waiting for the snow plow before I venture out on these slippery country roads

Just read the last of yesterdays thread -
YahYah, is there anyway your homeowners insurance would cover any of the damage? It's true, so people are terrible renters, slobs really. Glad you survived yesterday, stay strong

Det, I've always believed our MDs do the best they can BUT that's not always enough! We really do need to be careful consumers of our health care & be our own advocates. Thank God for Google, huh?? Many docs told me over the years that they only ever had one class in nutrition in medical school. They are taught to order nutritional consults with RDs for their hospitalized patients. The rest of us need to figure it out on our own. As far as the potential effects of mixing & matching Rx drugs - we are better off asking the pharmacist for info. Today they use computer programs to alert them to any possibilities. My grandfather & FIL, both pharmacists had to rely on memory but then again there weren't so many drugs to deal with back then. Be an active player in your own health care to be extra safe

Greetings to everyone & wishes for a wonderful AF Sunday!

Morning all! Love the chocolate vs sex info Mick. All of it is so true. Busy day for me. I'm lying in bed trying my best not to get up but the minutes tick on. Have a great day. I'm missing everyone and lurking when I can.

Oh, Mick, thank you for that hysterical humor. Kuya, not too far, not at all, so funny it made me fall off my chair. My son wanted to know what made me laugh so hard.

So glad to be alive today. I had a dream I drank a glass of wine last night. The biggest sadness was coming on here and telling you guys I was back at day 1. When I woke up, I had this massive sense of relief. I think I dreamt this as I had a dinner guest who drank wine last night. He took it with him when he left, and both of us were comfortable that I don't keep it in the house, etc. but what a massive test of my thinking! Wow, the AL brain is really there in the background, isn't it? This experience is SO MENTAL, SO MUCH IN OUR MINDS!

Lav, you wrote me once that there are no slips, only decisions to drink. I get it now.

                  Love,
                  Cat

Doing what Kuya suggested, woke up wanting to drink today and 3 hours later, still trying to find reasons why I can drink....this battle is wearing me out.....this is such a battle - I know all the right answers, and what I really want to do, but the battle is a struggle and I am fed up fighting it...:upset::upset:

So sad this weekend, today - so sad.....so want things to be better and I know they can be if I am sober.....so sick of this....
Reading like crazy and hoping the urges will go away and leave me the heck alone...I am trying....
                        Thanks Mick....:l

you sound very depressed SL - being sober will help lift this - but can you work on the depression/sadness as well?
Also the sadness and flatness is like grieving for something lost (the AL) - I went through that many times.
Nourish yourself as much as you can with all the other stuff going on. One day at a time, one night at a time...

Sending hugs and positive vibes, Scottish Lass. :l If you drink, you will just distract yourself from feeling sad and thrust yourself into shame and self-recrimination. Hang on, as sad as you are, it will pass in time.

Oh my love, I so feel for you right now :l :l give up the fight against alcohol.....you can't win.

You can see I am a very strong determined woman, I have fought battles and problems that would destroy many but I can't defeat alcohol.......I am an alcoholic and we win by accepting that fact.
