    Good morning kids!
The sun is up, that's good news.
I have a sore throat & a massive headache, yuck

Nice to see you Star & Papmom! LBH, I hope you had a good night
Not doing much today but I do have to watch the boys for about 4 hrs tonight so I need to reserve my energy.

Wishing everyone a terrific AF Thursday!

      March Maintenance ~ Week 1

      Hi All,
LBH, my thoughts and well wishes are coming your way and will be with you each day. Keep hope alive. There are new and innovative treatments these days.

Lav, Star, Pappy, all, I have no time this morning to properly write, but I am going to post this song. I meandered over to the "What we're listening to" thread and saw that Mr. G had greeted IAD and also posted a song. I thought it was a different version of the song by Pink called, "Sober". It turns out to be a completely different "Sober" written by Kelly Clarkson. I like it much better than the Pink song. Take a listen if you have time or inclination:

There's a lovely crescent moon up in the sky yet this morning. Beautiful.

whoo hoo!! Snow day!! I'll pay for it later tho with the shoveling and snowblowing but for now..........Chillaxing!!

Lav-sure hope you feel better today and that the boys didn't wear you out too much last nite.

          LBH-how are you feeling today?

Cyn-hard to imagine the gardening season is right around the corner with all this snow. I think you might have gotten spared this time.

Today, once I get going, will be filled with laundry, juicing and hopefully reading!!

Busy weekend with 2 demos scheduled. I am training my first demo rep on Saturday! So excited! Sunday is the family party for my oldest nephew who turned 21 (!!!!!) on the 5th. WTF? When did he stop being 5???? My brother and his family are coming out for the celebration-haven't seen him for a couple of months. Hoping to be able to get some face time with him and his wife and talk about possibly moving into their guest house in the next year. Should be an interesting conversation.

Where are all our regulars? Chill, Rusty, Rustop, TDN, Sooty-come out come out whereever you are!! Did I miss anyone?

            March Maintenance ~ Week 1

Just a quick check in, a busy busy weekend for me. Meeting at Starbucks, hair appointment (don't mess with that one) then having visitors so cleaning and shopping, STAT. Tomorrow going to a concert, so will be out of town.

Isn't life like that, too much to do one weekend, nothing to do the next.

              Good morning friends

I am feeling better this morning, thanks!
As a matter of fact I am going to meet my daughter & grandaughter at Longwood later on for a walk thru the conservatory.

I'm sitting here watching the news & see it's snowing again on you papmom. Enjoy your day off Hope your weekend goes well.

Dill, have you started your countdown to retirement yet? Yay!

I see Chill & TDN on FB everyday.

Looking forward to a warmup this weekend - upper 50's sounds pretty good!
Have a great day one & all!

                March Maintenance ~ Week 1

Quick check in here, as I am heading out to pick up a friend for lunch and a bit of shopping! The hopefully Zumba at 4:30, if two other people show up. I did the "teeny boppers'" Zumba on Monday night and kept up pretty darn well--much better than some of those kids:H Did Step last night, and that is always a complete workout.
LBH, I am so very sorry about the eye. I hope that they will find a solution for this. Prayers coming your way!
PapMom, saw the demos on FB, and ho nice that you are training a rep! I am doing a "free" demo at the end of the month for my friend who owns the shop here in town. It's her fifth anniversary and I wanted to help out a bit. And you got the snow this time! We got maybe an inch, but still have plenty from the previous storms. I was at my sister's in Boston Tuesday night and then driving home on Wednesday night I saw all kinds of weird weather.
I have heard from Rusty, and she's doing great, but very busy with work.
Lav, hope the cold gets better soon. No fun being sick!
Hope everyone else is doing well.

                  March Maintenance ~ Week 1

Lav I am happy you are on the mend, I knew you had a good chance of quickly fending off a virus. My immune system is a beast and loves a good fight. Hi Pappy, I am glad your work is more rewarding and creative and that you are enjoying the demos as well?I remember you talking about your brother's guest house a while back, is there something now that has rekindled your interest? I am with Lav, Dill, how many days? How many days? How many days? Good to see you TDN and hello to Rusty, Cyn, Star et. al. Things are OK here, not going off the deep end. My baby seeds are coming up in their little spot on the heating pad. I worked out hard this morning and then went to a gallery for a private viewing (ooo-la-la) as I won't be able to attend the opening tonight. It was wonderful and the owner promised to never let me buy bad art just because I can't see it. Everywhere I turn it seems like somebody wants to buy me a drink, even Lord Bird Heart who has been in recovery from alcohol addiction for over twenty years. I must look like I need one. I don't have any alcohol in the house as that is an offer I probably would not turn down unlike the weird guy on the bus. Be back soon, you too. Love, Ladybird.
                  may we be well

                    March Maintenance ~ Week 1

LBH-you stay close to us and shame on Lord BH for offering you a drink! He knows better than that! what wierd guy on the bus? What did I miss?
Yes, the interest in my brother's extra house has been rekindled because where I work now is only 40-50 min away-no longer than the commute I used to have and only 10 min more than what I do now most days. It would still be an easier commute as that part of the highway is not traveled like the ones I used to go on. So, if I could live next door to them, be 10 min from Amherst, 20 min from Northampton and still get to work under an hour I would be so happy!!! Everytime I go to their place I get a great feeling of peace. Plenty of garden space, trail walks, birds and quiet. Not to mention them!!

There may be close to 2 feet on the ground but I'm hearing song sparrows in the back yard as well as a bunch of other chirps and chatters. It will be 50+ this weekend so i'm assuming the snow will melt quickly. I just took a peak outside and some angel has snowblowed my driveway and sidewalk!!
I've got my samples done for tomorrow, a couple of loads of laundry completed, dishes done and the pups are snoozing. Love days like this!!

                      March Maintenance ~ Week 1

Would you still keep your present house Pap? You could be a land baroness. You didn't miss anything, just some much younger fellow tried to pick me up the other day at a bus stop near a University pub. It was actually funny and he was nice. Don't blame Lord Bird Heart by the way?I have trained him. I didn't want there to be a lot of drama or anxiety about my drinking or abstinence. He has seen through the years that I don't have the kind of addiction that gets primed by one drink and that I have never had too much to drink away from home so he will sometimes ask if I want a cocktail with dinner out and not care a hoot what the answer is. It is as if it is none of his business, only mine. He knows it is important for me to not have alcohol in the house anymore (while he doesn't drink, he doesn't mind keeping it for guests) because I don't want to get back into a habit, but we also don't keep sweets or chips at home for exactly the same reason. No drama. Just a healthy life. Love, Ladybird.
                      may we be well

                        March Maintenance ~ Week 1

Hi LBH-no I won't keep my house. If I can't sell it, I'll probably just walk away. I'm so far under water right now according to Zillow even a short sale wouldn't work. But, i will talk to a Realtor just to make sure I'm doing the right thing.

Wow-a hot young man tried to pick you up? You hussy you! How fun! I often dream about that happening to me after I've lost about 60 lbs (when did it change from 40????).

I'm glad you and Lord BH have come to an understanding and it seems like you have your priorities in order. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have one glass of wine at a party or during dinner out but I know deep down it wouldn't stop at that. So, I hold on to the thought that I have been completely AL free for 34 months and its gone by fairly fast. I no longer crave it, have no desire to have it in the house but again, would love to be able to join in with family and friends and just have one. Not my reality anymore.

So my sidewalk didn't get done by my neighbor after all but I did thank him for doing the drive. It was a big help. Still, it took me 1.5 hrs to shovel the walks, clean off my car and dig through the snowplow pile that was dumped after my neighbor did the drive. Great exercise, thankful I did have a heart attack. I peaked out my window about 30 min ago and saw a HUGE snowplow pile at the end of my drive. They must have come back and widened the street by 6 feet! I pulled the shade down and I'm pretending it isn't there. Maybe a miracle will occur and it will be gone by tomorrow morning. We definitely ended up with at least 2 feet and it was heavy!! I am so done with winter. Bring on creating a new veggie garden!!

I'm sorry you got dumped on like that papmom. Nothing but flurries here today. It is supposed to warm up nicely for the next few days so maybe the snow will just disappear
Realtors have all kinds of creative tricks up their sleeves so don't just walk away from your house, please.

LBH, a private showing huh? Well good for you lady :H
