    Jazzy June - Week 2

Hello Junesters, looks like a beautiful day here toay.

Rusty, I thought of you yesterday and hoped your game was rained out! :H Glad to hear you dodged that bullet. I thought your response to Lav was right on the money. I never would have thought about the asking someone to a party just to relieve their own guilt, but it makes sense. And I agree, it's not just men that do these things!

Lav, that is very sad about the young zoo intern struck by lightning. It doesn't sound good for her. And as to your question about YB/men-in-general: No, I don't think all men are like that and yes you are stuck with a real "ass clown"!:H

Witt's you are quite inspirational and I appreciate you joining our thread!

    From Thoreau's Walden:

“I learned this, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. . . . In proportion as he simplifies his life, the laws of the universe will appear less complex, and solitude will not be solitude, nor poverty poverty, nor weakness weakness."
    Dill

Dont forget, you can: start late, start over, be unsure, try and fail AND STILL SUCCEED!

If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.

      Jazzy June - Week 2

      Good Morning Friends,

Just caught myself up on your lives & glad to hear you're all doing well.

I laughed OUT LOUD at your story about NapoleonArt, Rusty. Its so wonderful to be in a position where, as a woman, you don't HAVE to tolerate shitty behavior because you are a subordinate. You are your own boss and set the standards. I am so impressed with you and love that you just took care of yourself ~ end of story. No guilt, no long drawn explanations…poor behavior met with with proper consequence. Well played my friend. I have to say I am super envious of your traveling career. If you ever get too busy and need an assistant, let me know. I have a stellar work ethic! And the quote…something I've been pondering for some time now. Thank you for sharing it.

Lav, yep I concur that you have a particularly ass~clowny one on your hands! :giggle: But, I think you too handled him perfectly.

      BTW, what happened to Chill?

Your floor sounds lovely Cyntree and way to put the Smack Down! and staking claim on your decision. You get a boundary setting WIN for sure!

Thanks for the Hannah recommendation Star, I will check her out too! How is your gardening coming along? Since you are a nature lover like me, are you a rock hound too? Its kinda a new hobby for me and they are supposed to have healing energy, which I desperately need right now.

:greatjob2: WittsEnd on staying dedicated and loving yourself thru this! Hope your weekend is delightful too!

Sorry for being MIA lately. A lot of family stuff going on...Also, my blood work came back negative. Bone scan yesterday may reveal something. My biggest fear is that they find nothing conclusively, send me away with nothing for the pain and tell me this is just something I'm gonna have to live with. I cannot seem to find a doctor with any compassion. My moms death made me wanna live again. This pain is eroding that will with each passing day and I cannot imagine living another 20+ years with this only getting worse. Its making me depressed and defeated. I don't know what to do.

Sorry to be a downer, I just have no where else I can be this honest as my family is far too fragile. There are so many things I want to do and tackle, but my body just isn't cooperating. I have modified my diet too, I suppose I will have to cut out everything I really enjoy here soon. Is someone playing a really cruel joke on me here?

Anyway, I hope you are all having a beautiful Friday. And a big Hello to the Missing. You are missed. XOXOXO, P.

        Hi Perse,
Good to see you! You certainly do have a lot going on in your life. Dealing with chronic pain IS depressing, no one will argue with you about that. Glad to hear your blood work is OK but it's hard not knowing what is causing your discomfort. My daughter had a sudden onset of severe (crippling) arthritic pain last year. (This came after a year+ of super life stress). She was without health insurance at the time so she went to see a naturopath near Philadelphia. He spent an hour with her talking & doing the unusual non-invasive testing they do & declared her to be allergic to wheat & gluten. She cut all wheat & gluten out & started to feel better in just a few days. After two weeks she was completely 'cured'. Guess what? She has tested this Dx a few times since & the arthritic pain always comes back with a vengeance. She feel great, takes no meds & is a happy camper again. I was truly worried about her because my Mom has a horrendous flare up of RA & suffered the last few years of her life. Back in 1985 we didn't know as much about autoimmune disorders, let alone how we can alter the outcomes with something as simple as a change in diet

Rusty, I had to laugh at your response about YB :H
He always was a klutz, I should be used to his awkward thinking but sometimes I get the feeling he wants to drag me back into his cave.....don't wanna go there :H

Hi Dill, I heard on the news that the zoo intern is recovering - I sure hope so!
God, you just never know what's going to happen on any given day

Greetings to Star, cyn, Witts end, Papmom (where are you?)
Hope everyone has a nice night!

        Lav

PS: Perse- Chill is no longer posting here but I see her everyday on Facebook!
        AF since 03/26/09
        NF since 05/19/09
Success comes one day at a time
