Hi there - its August and I am not sure if its winter or spring here. Sunny but cold, spring flowers out but wearing winter woolies. Can't complain though.
I think Mick is offski today - so safe travels. My decorating has come to a standstill - just received the quotation for new blinds - fainted, stood up, fainted and decided to put this on hold. Too busy anyway to give it serious thought.

Blondie - you mentioned holidays - is this your trip to the pastures of paradise (my country?) - you know the place where they warn that AL and weapons do not mix.
Other Blonde (UK) - one day I will give you a history of immigration to NZ but I can hear Mick groaning in despair co I might deliver a lecture :soapbox: - too tired to do so at the moment anyway. I will warn you - we are not a nation descended from convicts or Hobbits.
Glad you are having some me time - Lav. How's the Maddie time, Yah? My poor wee daughter was up to 1am last night doing homework and then up at 6am. Definitely not enough sleep for a teenager. I bet she is tired tonight.

I watched a bit of 'You've Been Trumped' last night - about the big golfcourse development in Scotland - not a happy ending for the good folk involved. Grrrrrr.
